Aly was named the 5th best sports story of the year by one of Boston’s newspapers.

She is currently on their websites front sports page.

The Obnoxious Boston sports fan also named Aly to his list but I lost the link. He’s obnoxious anyway so who cares:)

Sports Illustrated thinks Kyla Ross could be the gymnast to beat in the US. He also names Lexie Preissmen and Kaitlyn Ohashi.

Shannon Miller being Shannon Miller. I wonder if she gets tired of listening to herself???:)

I like this article. Which medal is which? Neither Shannon or Aly know.

Aly in the Dominican

Don’t blink or you will miss her. (about 207 in) You can see the mouth, old man and the biggest jackass to ever live on this planet all in 5 minutes but you have to be from Boston to know who I am talking about:)

Aly is also co-Bostonian of the year according to the Globe. Title town was title-less this year unless you count Aly and the other Olympians.

I’ll have to go check the trash for the Globe Magazine from Sundays paper.

Jordyn Wieber to compete in 2013

According to all of you in the comments section and an anonymous facebook stalker who sent me this:)

John Geddert on facebook…..Its my birthday and the world was supposed to end, now that would have been a unique birthday present. Instead I got one that is much better, actually one of my favorite gifts ever. Jordyn informed me that she wants to start training again seriously and intends to compete at Championships in August. One step at a time of course, but what a great birthday present. Have to say I am a bit geeked about this….

The next tour she is on will end in March. Unless Jordyn plans on getting in shape during the tour (which will be hard to do but not impossible) she is giving herself 5 months to be ready for Nationals. That is pretty close to Nastia-ing it IMO.

Yes she is a nice kid and as far as I am concerned she was screwed by Marta last year and that led to her injury but if she is going to only give it half an effort she might as well not waste her time.

You can vote. I voted for Aly and I laugh at the names on this list. Ha.

If anyone would like to talk about what happened in Connecticut you can do so here. My opinion on the subject is pretty much the same as everyone else. This is a huge tragedy and anyone that has little kids in their lives is having a hard time with this.

I spent the day with my nieces on Friday and the TV was off the entire day. How do you explain something like this to a 6 year old that has to go to Kindergarten every day?

In ten years I hope we remember the 27 victims names and their stories and forget the killers because that never seems to be the case. This is me doing my part. (If anyone has a great video or article that I can use for any of these victims please let me know so I can add it)

The girl that makes these is a complete biatch but I thought this list was interesting plus there is NOTHING else to talk about.

It does not decipher between AA Gold medals and event finals so it is somewhat misleading.

Kyla and Mckayla were the grand marshall’s of a parade.

I found this on tumblr. Its kind of insane but I think Mckalya grabbed a fan in me because she was pretty nice to these crazy girls running up the street while they were in the middle of a freaking parade.lol

Aly Raisman goes shopping

Gymnastics is really dead people:) Aly has gone shopping at one of the most expensive malls this state has. Everything is over priced and I once saw a rat run across the floor at their movie theatre:)

Aly is currently in the Dominican hanging out with turncoat David Ortiz. Okay so he isn’t a turncoat but he said he wanted to be one and that is turncoat enough for me.

Aly was also signing autographs at the Burlington mall. Apparently I like to shop because I have also been to that mall. Its expensive too but not as bad as Chesnut Hill.

The Red Sox usually have something on turncoats golf charity event so I will keep my eyes out for that.
