Rotation 4

NBC interviewed Laurie Hernandez and Simone but did not interview Aly. They don’t even try and hide their bias do they?

OVERALL:  What BS scoring tonight. The beam judges need to be drug tested as do the bar judges. They don’t care about fairness or legit scoring they only care about whom  they and want on this team and whom they don’t. I guess placement matters more than scoring but the US ends team finals on beam at the Olympics and if these kids are tired now imagine how they will feel in a month?

I just day dreamed through most of Laurie’s floor. It’s just there for me even if she at least tries to sell it unlike others who walk through it.

Same DTY for Gabby. Big step. Totally piked. Tim says her stock is up after all her mistakes lol OMG ARE YOU WATCHING THE SAME THING AS I AM

Simone bobbles on beam but she stayed on. Not her best. Short on her dismount big step forward.

Multiple mistakes for Maggie on bars and remember when jas wondered if having Maggie do bars and beam was to screw her over like they did Chellsie? I guess we will see if she gets named to Trials.

Great routine for Aly on beam. Step on dismount and not as perfect as night one but still rock solid.

Skinner bombed beam big time. Nice to see the girls support her but that was brutal. Makes you wonder why the National Broadcasting company felt the need to show Mykayla on her worst event while ignoring the only 2 routines she would be used for in a 3 up, 3 count but at least they mentioned it. Watching this competition with an every 4 year fan that now hopes she makes the Olympic

Kutcher big bobble on beam. Still got a 14.150. Most ridiculous score of the meet

Rotation 2 and Rotation 3

Right commercial Nastia like Nastia wasn’t making fun of Shawn to her face and behind her back and like you drink coca cola you hack.

Skinner hit her Chang. Big Amanar from Skinner with messy landing.

Ragan off bars. okay so Ragan needs to be consistent but Gabby doesn’t and you want Gabby as a bars specialist? Do people believe these commentators???????????????

Nailed Amanar from Simone. That was near perfect even form. Bouncy piked Chang.

Baumann had a messy beam but she stayed on.

Laurie hit her messy leg bar. I like the leo. 15.150. She is not getting these scores in Rio. her bar routine is to messy for these scores.

Step messy Amanar from Aly but good for her.

Much better beam from Gabby but still missed connections and her switch ring wasn’t even close. Can’t wait for this score. 15.050 Very generous esp compared to Baumann’s beam.

Ashton hit bars but it was a lot slower than night one which was a lot better. Small step.

3 bobbles for Laurie on beam and her switch ring was not even close to a ring but she stayed on. 15.300 is a joke for all her bobbles.

Both feet OOB for Gabby on her pass with the back flip connected. 14.450 when her night one walk through was clearly better. Only deduction they took is the 3 tenths for stepping out.

Nice bars from Aly. Better feet form than day 1

Better beam from Ragan but still had a bobble ..

Rotation 1

When Marta admits Gabby would still be on her team after night 1 and we try and pretend none of this is fixed. There is a camp after trials so Marta pretending there is any chance this team isn’t already chosen is crazy.

Gabby nearly falls and still gets a 14.500 on bars.

Great floor for Aly and a Red Sox shirt for her brother in st Louis. Haha something I would have done.

Look at the flight says Tim as Maddie Kocian  barely makes the grab. Much better than night one for bars. 15.7

Maggie hit her beam and only got a 14.3 something.

Hernandez messy DTY got a 14.800

Alyssa hit bars but missed handstands…

Simone’s floor was much better landed than night one but she got half a tenth less. lol Marta is trying to keep this close? I don’t get it?

I guess Nastia, Tim and Al were NOT watching 2 nights of Nationals because they are still naming Gabby with what she just did for

Videos Day 1

Tomorrow is a full day for me  plus I can’t find my damn sign in for my cable anyway so I can’t live blog even if I wanted too. I’ll try and start a blog for the seniors sometimes after the juniors tomorrow. So please come and post. At night I should be around to at least talk with everyone during Senior Nationals for the ladies. You guys can be my eyes and ears unless I can get my brothers password sometime in between. He’s on vacation so the chance is probably small but I’ll try.:)

10 Little Indians : The race for the 2016 Olympic team.

2 down  Who’s next?

Must suck to have such potential and just one day be done due to a bad back. Lets be real about Foberg, she had no shot but Bailie Key if given a fair shot would have been one of the 5 named to the team if based on what you give but at last, what Marta and Steve want is what happens.

I am pretty sure I used this same headline in

Sorry for the lack of blogging but work has been hell and lets be real, this team will be decided on everything not related to gymnastics anyway so why even bother? God I sound like a broken record every 4 years but seriously don’t you just get disgusted with this sport and  the politics of it all? These two situations are “injury” related but in the end it wouldn’t have made a difference anyway. Not sure how I still can support this sport knowing all that I do.

My favorite floor routine from the weekend of gymnastics

June 6, 2016

It’s an Olympic year so of course it’s all about the senior gymnasts . It’s way too early to think of the Olympics 4 years from now when we are one only a few months away from Rio but I found this  impressive routine hidden amongst the juniors that I felt the need to share.

She doesn’t have the difficulty to compete as a senior but Junior All around champion, Elena Eremina  has a beautiful balletic  floor routine with unique choreography that I rather enjoyed. I even liked the “vocals” This was the only routine I watched twice. She isn’t over dramatic which means she has room to improve. Which is a good thing.

USA-Gymnastics Olympics year bull shit: Secret  Classic

Non USA Countries can watch the senior Classic competition  here

LIVE US Secret classic is here

USA-gymnastics isn’t happy if they are are not pulling their Olympic year bull shit and this year I decided against wasting my time.

As you know Classics is in Hartford and I had planned to go. So I looked up available tickets months ago and you had one of two options. 1 you could spend the extra money and get a bundle which included Men’s National championships or two,  you could buy silver level tickets which was basically nose bleed section. No thanks

It’s an Olympic year so they tried to force fans into attending the men’s competition if they wanted decent seats to Classics. Way to treat your paying customers who attend every meet in their area. tried this for worlds too where individual seats were never on sale to the ladies long so I chose to stay home and not waste my money on any of the competition. At least they didn’t do that for Nationals last year but USA-Gymnastics pulls this BS every chance they get during an Olympic year.

Well above is the link to the junior competition. The Woman’s competition will air on NBC somewhere but I have no clue where my password to prove I have cable is and the boy is out of town so I won’t be watching that either.

So much for Olympic year fun.

Watched some of the men. Saw Lleyva fall. Saw Orozco the clown literally miss every handstand on HB and still get a 15.100. Saw Legendre fall on floor.  They are worse then the woman judges when it comes to cheating.

Podium Training

Girl is not in good shape but looking like her usual self in Podium Training. Should be interesting to see what she does when it matters. Just how long was she out of training before we found out?
