No news on the second American cup gymnast. Considering they are probably on their way here in the next two days I find this lack of an answer odd. Almost like USA-Gymnastics is looking for someone to get in shape so they can send a big name. (Jordyn Wieber??)

Aly Raisman is rumored to be on DWTS. TMZ has all the gossip. No word from the Raisman camp. I love Kellie Pickler and Wynonna so I hope both are on the show with Aly.

Beth Tweddle week 8. Backward roll with skates on, impressive:)

There is a team dance with Beth but I don’t support the US President being a moron and shaking hands with someone wanting to blow up our Military so I won’t support Beth dancing to it either.

 

Rumor has Nastia replacing Elfi on the NBC Broadcasts of gymnastics. I guess we will have more to make fun of in the future:) Please let this awful info be just a rumor. I realize Nastia’s stalker is the source of this rumor but come on, NBC must have an idiot in charge if they bring this ego into their broadcast “family” Nastia is and always has been about Nastia. She loves to talk about herself and this platform gives her more opportunity to do just that.

There are so many former gymnasts that do commentary and have experience doing it like Shannon Miller, Amanda Borden, even Elise Ray does some College meets so explain to me why NBC decided to hire, her? The network is truly out of the loop when it comes to the sport. Most likely they just don’t care.

Kohei is just better than you

Triple twisting Yurchenko anyone? How about a Dragulescu?  This guy is amazing. I have faith he will fix the form when it really matters and while this does prove that Kohei is human but he is still better than you. Its time we all just learn to live with his greatness.:)

 

 

Max Aaron is inspired by Aly Raisman. The US is in huge trouble in Figure Skating with who they are sending to worlds. This could be one spot for the Olympics bad.

Mckayla Skinners new Floor routine and a plea

With everything I have read about this floor routine I expected to hate it. After getting past the really loud violin screeching music I didn’t hate it. I didn’t love it and she needs work on her presentation but I found this more enjoyable then Aly’s floor routine.

She fell on her double front and was piked down on her double double layout but overall it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.

So I thought I would watch the routine a second time and I didn’t not hate it as much as I did the first time. The more I watched it the less I found myself enjoying it. Catherine said I should look at her practice routine so I want to youtube and found this and then I realized I never even noticed the Choreography watching it the first time. This video is clearer then the first one I watched and I guess this is the routine I didn’t like more so than the first video.

So what do you think? I am still on the fence. I have watched it three times so far and each time I watch it I find more to criticize. Maybe judges should be allowed replays and then maybe we can get some realistic scores???

Jordyn looks great. The few pounds she gained look to have been lost. She has clearly been training. HOWEVER I am sick of listening to these girls claim they are best friends. We get it, BFF’s, move on….. Being BFF’s (which we all know is bull shit) had nothing to do with winning that gold medal
