Here is to everyone having a Happy and healthy New Year. Anyone have any New Year Resolutions?

I want some happy TV endings that have no chance of happening. A Red Sox World series win (in 4 short games AKA as a sweep) and a Superbowl for the Patriots, the destruction of the Boston Celtics and a lottery win of over 200 million after taxes for myself ( I ask for these same things every year tho:)

Yang Yilin is visiting Chows gymnastics and this picture showed up in my e-mail from someone who thought I might like to see it. Seems like my ranting about the 2008 Olympics especially that bar final is well known (Who would ahve thunk it:)

One of those girls is Norah Flatley. I forget who the other is.

Am I the only one that feels there is something off with this father? The little girl is adorable and she seems like this is her dream (by the short video) but I don’t know. Daddy seems a bit of a stage dad.

She competes Sunday.

Merry Christmas Everyone!!

Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas. Hanukkah is over but for those that celebrate it I hope you had a great Holiday too. Just a reminder Christmas is a religious holiday so if you have a Christmas tree and bash religion or those that follow it you are a hypocrite.

“I would rather live my life as if there is a god and die to find out there isn’t, than live my life as if there isn’t and die to find out there is.”

― Albert Camus

Sorry to bring Religion into this blog. I am not a religious person but it’s been a little over a year since my operation and I guess I am just reflecting on a lot of things. My life changed drastically over the last year. I think I took a lot of things for granted that I now realize I shouldn’t have and lets just say, sometimes, the consequences of your actions can sometimes take a toll on your mental well being. SO… I hope everyone has a great year and I will now stop babbling 🙂

In other news!!!!

Ashton Kutcher has decided she wants to be the next Shawn Johnson…

Whatever you do Ashton, Don’t give hair advice. (Roots girl. Your roots)

Oh and remember a few years ago when I was like annoyed, Nastia got engaged to a Boston guy? well reasons like this are why. I was minding my own business, walking down the street and I noticed the new Improper Bostonian was out and lets just say, someone has invaded my space It’s the first time EVER I have walked by the magazine and not taken one. #WhyBostonNastiaWHY

Aly and Alicia have both appeared on this magazine but they are from here. All the bitchy one has done is get permanently engaged to some guy I have never heard of.

Someone sent me an e-mail telling me Bridget Sloan has been liking Nastia’s posts on instagram again. Guess their feud is over too.

That same person also told me Katelyn Ohashi is having a bit of whiplash in the twitter hypocrisy department tweeting nasty comments calling out the people calling out Lizzy Leduc for getting kicked off the Illinois gymnastics team but then tweeting that everyone should be nicer to each other online.

She made that team” well that was rude, Katelyn.

Hopefully The Happy New year post will be full of less teenage drama….. 🙂

Komova’s comeback

December 19, 2017

This is like my third blog about her coming back but considering this is the first time she has competed the All Around in years she didn’t do that bad of a job.

Her form issues seem to be back and with a fall on beam she wasn’t perfect but I am proud of her. Most people would have quit by now but Vika is fighting on.

There is really no reason to peak now, anyway.

Viktoria’s routines

: Vault : Bars : Beam

In other news….

Larisa Iordache had a second surgery in December according to the Couch gymnast…. I forget they exist sometimes. They need to advertise their website a little more.

Aliya will be back in April

Michelle Kwan is back on the Ice
and this is literally the most beautiful thing I have seen since, well, since she retired. She claims she isn’t training for anything but, come on. Look at that spiral? There has to be a reason she is on the ice.

Voronin Cup Videos..

For the Nabieva fans, here is her Floor exercise… And her Bars… and her Beam

I suppose we should mention, Angelina Melnikova since she won the AA. You know what, I really like her. She needs to get her head in the game because a lot of her mistakes seem to be stupid little bobbles and lack of concentration. She had a decent floor routine going til the end and she needs to retire that wolf turn. She never completes it. On beam, floor, it’s a disaster. No way she gets credit for it.

: Beam : Floor

The Future…

Vladislava Urhazova has a lot of skills in this beam routine but none of the polish you usually see from the Russian’s. I’m assuming she’s a junior.

Aleksandra Schekoldina has a lot of potential too but she turns senior next year if the video of her beam routine is correct which means she doesn’t have a lot of time to get it together. That mount tho….

Little, Darya Yassinskaya is a bundle of energy with no control but I kind of like her. She reminds me of a young, Shayla Worley without the dance ability.

What ? You didn’t expect Gymnastics info on a gymnastics blog did you????

Now before Case yells at me, the ball was moving. He didn’t have control.

Seriously besides Lizzy Leduc being kicked off the Illinois Gymnastics team for teenage things the sport is dead right now so I gloat 🙂

Voronin Cup details (Thanks Rocio)

Bye Felicia

I mean Russia.

I do feel bad for the people who weren’t cheaters at the last Olympics like our current, world Champion in Figure Skating ( who will probably get to go anyway) but you gotta love how doping is this big taboo yet blatantly cheating for Adelina Sotnikova 4 years ago is a none issue.

I do believe 99.9999999 % that if you don’t punish the Country you are wasting your efforts because no lesson will be learned and allowing exceptions like they are doing with Russia is not going to stop this from happening again. So why bother?

I finally have something to blog about 🙂
