For some reason I hate the term gymternet. I don’t know why I just do but I suppose it fits being my blog today is about, the gymternet.
Triple Twist blog has a Q and A with questions that were asked of them by their followers. The two have a lot of guts for putting themselves out there and as sisters they have a lot of chemistry in this video. I can totally not imagine me sitting in a room with my sisters and brother answering questions about anything. One of us would have been knocked into the bathtub 2 minutes in.lol All I will say about their video is that I could tell Ashlee was the trouble maker of the duo right away:) (Watch the video and you will see what I mean) You two are adorable and stay that way. Haters are going to hate and there is nothing you can do about that.
Aunt Joyce and Jenny Kirk have a new interview with Ashley Wagner on the skating lesson. I will watch later and let you know what it says. Ashley is a little snobby spoiled, self entitled brat so this should be fun to watch:)
Super Space medals for the 2014 Olympics. I am surprised Russia doesn’t have their flags on them since they will do everything they can to cheat to make sure they win.
I need to know if people are going to help me get the Shannon Miller video some votes when the contest starts? This is the link to all the videos and the Shannon one is up. We will need votes starting on the 29th. This blog gets 3000 hits a day that means at least a 3rd of you actually read this blog. Please make sure you help.

Believe so. I was reading their facebook page, and they confirmed that they were also going to stream podium training … if it is correct, I guess they would put a link for that (as well)on their facebook page

I don’t have the time or the patience to make one of these. I don’t know how people have time to make them as it is.I don’t own a program to make one either. Mine would be epic and it would be fun:) If I had time and talent I would make one of all the times Nastia had fallen and label it, My favorite Nastia moments. My fave would be the one of her falling off the beam on her mount at the American cup. where she goes up and kicks over the beam and falls off the beam.lol

You could start with her 2005 American cup fall on the gienger and chronologically document her falls and end with the 2012 trials fall on the geinger. Slice some shots of her waving to the crowd

I would love to see a video showing cutouts of Nastia, Shawn, Marta, etc. with just their mouths moving with funny dialogue. Of course we would have Nastia saying all sorts of bitchy things, Marta saying devious things, etc.

My sister and I wrote in to the site mostly because I’ve been reading it for so long and I wanted to see if it would actually go through. Although I do firmly believe that Belu treats Bulimar poorly and hope she does well at Worlds.

I’ve had a few go through, takes a few weeks unless you make it relevant about an ongoing/just over competition and then it’s fairly immediate. They explained that when they make a confession, the rest of the unmade ones gets shuffled in order to avoid loads about the same gymnast. Obviously not done when some freak submitted in a billion ones about Sydney Johnson-Scharpf. And there’s ALWAYS Mustafina ones everywhere.

If not, it will be hard to understand. Of course, injury … but maybe it is more likely that her coaches still want her to be picture perfect before she shows of anything new.

It will be interesting to say the least. I hope there’s You Tube footage because I won’t be around to watch online.
I’d be willing to bet though that any upgrades we see from Kyla will be on bars and beam. Floor upgrades might wait until nationals.
I still wonder if we’ll ever see her amanar again. Biles’ ask thingie mentioned she saw her training it at camp so I am hopeful, but then again you never know.
I hope Kyla does something because this really could be her “year” given that Ohashi is out and Marta has no reason to block Kyla from showing her full potential. All of that is out the window next year, but I can’t help but root for the girl, especially given that Marta obviously had no qualms potentially taking away her Olympics in favor of Nastia. I still cannot believe the golden ticket Nastia was given, and thank goodness she sucked it up.

News- McKayla will do vault and floor only. Not a major surprise I suppose. Also there are some gross leotards in store, Chow’s girls and a few more are in our favourite pink..I think Chow’s have Russia’s universiade team Leo in pink actually and wow is it bad. Laurie Hernandez will be in a dodgy looking lime green, will reserve judgement a bit as it’s a moving, slightly unclear clip- and her teammates Foberg and Agripedes. Mykayla Skinner has a black and bronze Leo that could be nice though.

I seem to remember Chow’s leos typically being kind of suspect – remember Shawn’s from her comeback? And even Gabby’s was some kind of fluorescent disaster. The prettiest leos were from Brestyan’s (does he have anyone going to Classics?)
What really took the cake for me though were those dog collar burgundy/bling monstrosities WOGA was sporting last year at nationals I believe. Whoo-wee were those a sight for sore eyes.
