2024 Europeans for Rocio and why I HATE US Beam judges. Gabby’s coach judging American Classic. How is that allowed?

Is it a conflict of interest to have Gabby’s ex-coach judging her at the American Classic?. Gabby called Kittia up and asked for her advice on bar construction a few months ago. And now she’s judging her routine at this most recent meet. Of course, no one cares.

Final Results [Team] [AA] [Vault] [UB] BB] [FL]

Videos: EF: Sabrina [BB]

Europeans! [Start Lists] [Results] [Live Scoring] Make sure to change to the WAG finals, and which apparatus or you get qualifying results.

Event Finals: (VT, UB, BB, Fl)

Subdivision 1 has Belgium, Spain, Finland, Greece, DEN (others) Derwahl is doing bars and beam Subdivision 2-Romania, Germany, France, and others. Mara is only doing floor. Subdivision 3: ISR, SWE, CRO, others Subdivision 4: GB, Italy, Hun, Ukraine, Netherlands, SUI, Poland

Qualifications: [Results] Finals {AA} [Event Finals}

Watch this routine by Zhou Yaqin from Chinese Nationals. Her execution score was 8.226 (Start value 7.2) Then I want you to watch Jade Carey and Gabby Douglas on beam from the most recent US Classic. And you wonder why as a fan I get so frustrated with this sport. I know the more you compete the more deductions but for Jade to get 8.050 in execution and Gabby 7.550 with nearly falling twice, it’s just like COME ON. Someone sent me this list of the judges.

By the way, the beam judges were Aimee Boorman, Shari Mann, Maria DeCristoforo, and Sylvia Topolova. Floor judges were Pat Panichas, Kittia Carpenter, Liz Crandell, and Pam Evans. On bars, the judges were Silvia Brestyan, Yazaira Cabrera-Davilla, Chelsea Davis, and Amy Young, and on Vault the judges were Anna Li, Loana Cruz, Ashley Johnson, and Amanda Stroud. Bolded names are ex-gymnasts I know, and Ex coaches we all know, including Gabby’s ex-coach (Kittia)

ALL I want when watching this sport are judges who do their jobs and it’s clear the beam judges didn’t. Neither did the Bars (two falls) or Floor. I am fine with her vault score. At Classica and Olympic trials I will be taking pictures of the judges.

Thanks! Stream here, beginning with quals on May 2nd. It is free after registration, at least in Europe.

    • gymtruthteller Says:

I have tried in the past. That never works for me.

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

I don’t know if they will stream it on the Spanish National channel. Maybe in the webpage, because on the main channel is Madrid Open (tennis) and damn Nadal and Alcaraz take precedence. I have seen in the webpage they will put the finals on TV and 2.00 in the morning. But RTVE webpage with geographical blockers should be available for you. No channel in USA is streaming the Europeans? Or a channel on YouTube?

By the way, dobleenplancha has an entry with all the participants. Spain is sending our A team with Ana Pérez, Laura Casabuena and Alba Petisco. France is sending their A team too except for Melanie.

    • gymtruthteller Says:

And now I need your opinion on the beam judges.

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

Which ones? Yours (meaning, USA judges) or normal ones?

      • gymtruthteller Says:

Both really because look at the Chinese girl and then look at jade and especially gabby and tell me where is the fairness ???

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

No USA or Russia in Europeans, and GB is on shambles, so I am a little curious about which team will be the favourite for European judges this time. The safest best is Italy (they are playing at home), but Italian judges at Serie A are very…eccentric, so you never know.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

        No Russia equals ASTERISK

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

By the way, the Netherlands is sending a new gymnasts named Floor Slooff. Nice kid. And completely new team for Germany.

  2. JAS4 Says:

Gabby still twist really early onto the table just like she did with her Amanar (Shawn did as well). It makes her Vault kind of low and not as neat.

  3. imperatorcarolus Says:

Lilia Cosman looks sharp at PT!

  4. Lucia Says:

Leanne is training a Moors on floor. I wonder if this means this would replace the double double ( I would hope she would do both)

    https://www.instagram.com/reel/C6ZBWcQO5vy/?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA%3D%3D

Amelie Morgan has decided not to try for the Olympics.

  5. imperatorcarolus Says:

Amelie Morgan gave GB the middle finger. GB is so fucked. It seems less a matter of injuries and more like that federation is full of assholes, and a full grown adult doesn’t need to take shit from anybody.

    • gymtruthteller Says:

She knew there was no shot at a medal. No need to come back.

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

A lots of federations and gymnasts know that they don’t have a chance at medals (unless there is a general meltdown), but being an Olympian forever is usually pretty important. For her not wanting to endure just a few more months with the British Federation for being for sure an Olympian, in an Olympics in her own continent, and for the British Federation, given their poor state, not going into their knees to beg her to stay, is really weird. GB is in no state to be picky.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

She already is an Olympian and a medalist and with that she has a legacy . She doesn’t want the ruin it just to be one again . Shes not exactly a medal threat individually .

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

It is GB the one who has the problem, not her. She simply gave them the middle finger, something for which she most probably has a good reason. GB is a federation that have very bad press in general.

  6. imperatorcarolus Says:

    No, Mara, no!

    • gymtruthteller Says:

As is the life of gymnasts I like to watch . I hope she’s okay and gets to compete .

  7. imperatorcarolus Says:

Seems like Casella is doing his Casella things again, taking Andreoli out the possibility of doing AA. Iorio has to be in the UB line up because they had taken her only for that (I mean, she can do a good AA, but the others AAers of the team are better, so she has been taken especially for the UB), but Asia has less potential AA score than Andreoli, and UB are not her best even (vault/floor especialist, after all), so it doesn’t make any sense to take Andreoli out of the AA game and keep Asia, when Andreoli can potentially do better, and she will probably be the two-per countried person for the AA in favour of Alice and Manila, that are AAers.

    • imperatorcarolus Says:

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

Iorio will probably be the one that is going to be sacrified for the Olympic team if Martina is well enough to earn a spot. The problem will arise if Giorgia is well, as she is one of the favourites who was cheated out of Tokyo because Cassella is an idiot. Italy is not going to get any of the D’Amato twins out. Manila and Martina are considered very reliable and who counted a lot for the team in bad moments. The decisions will be between Andreoli, considered very promissing and with a great potential, but with quarrels with the federations since her team as a junior and considered less stable than her teammates, and Giorgia, who is a favourite, but it is a beam/UB especialist (she can do floor as well, but her teammates have higher start value) and who would have roughly the same chances as Andreoli to be on beam final.

  8. imperatorcarolus Says:

WITH AN OLYMPICS LESS THAN THREE MONTHS AWAY, WITHDRAW HER, DON’T LET HER DO FLOOR EITHER YOU SICKOS! And get a real doctor, for fuck’s sake. This kinesiotherapy bullshit would explain a lot of things regarding injuries and the Romanian Federation.

  9. imperatorcarolus Says:

Someone posted on Twitter the list of people currently included in the British national team. You have to take off the Gadirovas and Ondine because injuries, and Amelie because she is not trying for the Olympics, so
GB only really has Kinsella, Ruby Evans, Becky Downie (who is a especialist and can’t do AA), Abigail Martin and Poppy. The scores lower a lot with the rest. GB is very, very fucked.

  10. imperatorcarolus Says:

Good morning, fellas! Happy quals day! I am trying to follow as much as I can, but the web is divided by events and it doesn’t follow an specific team, so I will do my best.

  11. imperatorcarolus Says:

I need a gymnastics spotify. I spent more time than I am willing to recognize remembering that the music I was hearing came from the song of “Abba”, “Money, money, money”.

  12. imperatorcarolus Says:

Spain on UB in the next rotation! I think I will stay in this stream for a little while…

  13. imperatorcarolus Says:

We don’t wear a horrible outfit! I am so surprised, our outfits are usually very horrible! So glad.

  14. imperatorcarolus Says:

The advertisments in this plataform are a nightmare. I missed Laura because of advertisments, but Ana Pérez did very well. Glad to see her on and about after her injury.

  15. imperatorcarolus Says:

Very nice routine for Alba. A very little problem in the middle, but she controlled it very well and finished without further issues. More difficulty than the last time I saw her compete.

  16. imperatorcarolus Says:

Will I need to watch the finals in this shitty stream the next few days because the fucking Spanish National television is kissing the fucking rich’s asses at Madrid Open?

  17. imperatorcarolus Says:

I found the correct hashtag on Twitter, Thank God. It is #Rimini2024. It works better than that awful stream. It seems that Nina fell on beam and UB.

    • imperatorcarolus Says:

People on Twitter saying that she will have a plus 6 routine on Paris because she still have a couple of months to go. One: this is not her return to elite. She has been competing at World Cups and she earned her spot on the Olympics through World Cups for beam, but she has been competing. If both her UB and beam are this shaky at this point, this isn’t something she is going to fix in two months. And also, UB is the most competitive event right now by far. You have people throwing high sixes and low sevens of difficulty like it was easy. If she hasn’t mastered a high difficulty routine less than three months before the Olympics, she will most probably be out of the final. Unless there is a general meltdown, of course.

  18. imperatorcarolus Says:

13.166 for Alba Petisco on floor. Very regular on the low 13s this competition.

  19. imperatorcarolus Says:

Vansteenkiste’s floor routine is very theatrical, I miss those kind of routines, they are very entertaining.

  20. imperatorcarolus Says:

Juas, juas, the put a Kiss Cam and the public is like: I have self respect, I am not doing that. This kind of thing are vey alien for the European public. The young couples are doing it, but most of the rest are giving it the side eye or just waving. Fellas, that is an USA thing, we don’t do that here.

    • imperatorcarolus Says:

If they do that in Spain, better be prepared for some jokes of very dubious taste, that’s for sure. I still remember the horrible image of a football fan showing his nacked buttocks to a football players ready to try to score a goal. He failed, of course, after such horrid and traumatizing image. Nobody blamed him, of course.

  21. imperatorcarolus Says:

Spain takes the lead after rotation 1, almost three points ahead of Belgium. The big federations are still to go.

  22. imperatorcarolus Says:

Laura Casabuena didn’t compete on beam, which has me a little worried, but she competed in other events, and she seemed to be fine. If she is even a little injuried, reserve her, for God’s sake.

  23. imperatorcarolus Says:

Alba Petisco leads subdivision 1 AA with 52.699.

  24. imperatorcarolus Says:

I will stay on beam to watch Romania…

  25. imperatorcarolus Says:

Lilia Cosman did very well, and still got a medium 7s, but Barbosu and Amalia both fell. Voinea didn’t fall, but had a huge break, so they are going to hit her badly with that. They gave a 14.10 with a 6.5 difficult score, but 7.6 of execution, without falls. Beam is going to be a massacre.

    • gymtruthteller Says:

How did Mara do on floor ?

    • gymtruthteller Says:

Never mind . They pulled Mara off floor . These scores for the descriptions seem very high . Now I remember why Romania annoyed me in the past.

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

They pulled Mara off. I hope my sickos comment scared them off.

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

Constant on middle sevens for mostly hit routines. But there were some connections I wouldn’t have awarded for a 6.5. Still dobious, though.

  26. imperatorcarolus Says:

Barbosu fell on floor and beam, and downgraded second vault for Voinea.

  27. imperatorcarolus Says:

Romania on UB. Lilia Cosman with a clean routine, even if it was not packed. Amalia did very good, with a stuck dismount and I appreciate the return of tik-tok legs (I understand it is a personal choice, but still). Very good so far for Romania.

  28. imperatorcarolus Says:

They are making Sabrina wait a lot, a lot…

  29. imperatorcarolus Says:

They gave Barbosu a 6.8 E score without a fall… I find it extremely low, but this camera is not the best to see UB, so I wonder what I missed.

    • imperatorcarolus Says:

Ah, I read she hit the floor…that is what I missed, the angle of the camera is not good to watch UB

  30. imperatorcarolus Says:

Sabrina lost control in a part of her exercise, but did good otherwise. Some open legs that I could see, but no falls.

  31. imperatorcarolus Says:

Spain is currently on third, after France and Romania. With Alba Petisco still on AA second place after all French and Romanian gymnasts, with only Sabrina Voinea ahead of her. Barbosu is two-per-countried by Lilia and Voinea.

  32. imperatorcarolus Says:

Comments for GB’s fan saying that they are ready to see their team shut the people’s mouths…and here I am ready to see how they fall behind Spain. There is a say in Spain that any good Spaniard should pee in the direction of England. I am of that minset right now. .

  33. imperatorcarolus Says:

Italy, GB and Ukraine are on the last subdivision. Not many interesting gymnasts on the third I am afraid, so I think I will wait out until the last one.

    • gymtruthteller Says:

Thanks for all you do . You’re my Vice President 😉 Well, you’re a vice President, just not the useless one we have who slept her way to the top.

  34. imperatorcarolus Says:

  35. HartofDixie Says:

  36. imperatorcarolus Says:

Last subdivision is about to start and Spain is still on third. Italy for sure will get ahead, but in the finals we only need to Romania or France to have a meltdown to medal!

  37. imperatorcarolus Says:

I am this close to never buy a Germaine cream again just because of the advertisments, sending them to the horrible place in my memory where Oreos are, but this will be worse because they actually are amongs my favourite brands. But they are a pain in the ass.

    • gymtruthteller Says:

Think about how skinny you will be 🙂

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

They should begin to advertise Nesquick and Nestle chocolate, to see if I begin to hate them. That would help.

  38. imperatorcarolus Says:

I think I will stay with GB, that begins on vault. Italy begins at the same time on beam, with Andreoli first (Casella is really mean, put the one you consider less stable first). You are a mean one, Mr. Cassella.

  39. imperatorcarolus Says:

13.633 for Georgia Mae Fenton on vault (4.6 Dscore).

  40. imperatorcarolus Says:

    Kinsella got a 14.00 with a DTY.

  41. imperatorcarolus Says:

Abigail Martin 13.8. No poblems with Ruby either. Good rotation on vault for GB, let’s see how Italy is doing on beam

  42. imperatorcarolus Says:

I know I am Spanish, I don’t have moral authority to complain, but holy smokes do the Italian scream. They almost shattered my eardrums.

  43. imperatorcarolus Says:

Hit routine for Andreoli and for Manila, that with 14.200 is one of the highest scores for beam of the meet.

  44. imperatorcarolus Says:

People of the organization: D’Amato, A. isn’t clear enough. I think it was Asia, but not, sure.

    • imperatorcarolus Says:

      13.233. Definitely Asia.

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

Made an inquiry for Asia that was accepted. Score raised to 13.733 because of a no credited element.

    • gymtruthteller Says:

Which twin got hurt and ho badly and on what?

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

The one injuried is Asia, the same one who torn ACL on vault at Worlds. We don’t know how bad is it, but you usually avoid being carried away on a coach’s arms at your home country in front of your family if it is not necessary, so I would guess it is pretty bad.

  45. imperatorcarolus Says:

Very good routine for Alice, very nice. Much better than last year.

  46. HartofDixie Says:

  47. imperatorcarolus Says:

Ruby had some problems with the handstands, but good dismount.

  48. imperatorcarolus Says:

Very good set for Georgia Mae Fenton. Manila’s music is on the background and she has part of the “Interview with a Vampyre” soundtrack at the beginning. Kudos, sister.

  49. imperatorcarolus Says:

Nice routine for Kinsella, a little short on the dismount and big step, but otherwise good.

  50. imperatorcarolus Says:

Oh, fuck, seems like Asia is injuried. Need more data.

  51. imperatorcarolus Says:

I missed Becky Downie because I was preocuppied with Asia, but so far it seems that no problem.

  52. imperatorcarolus Says:

Have to say that Cassella carrying Asia out in his arms despite him having all the years in the world and more has some kind of merit.

    • imperatorcarolus Says:

Reports of Cassella carying Asia out were widly exaggerated. It was the floor coach.

      • HartofDixie Says:

        No!!!!!!

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

I read she was wheeled out of the arena. Alice was crying, but had to pull off because she was next on floor and they couldn’t put Iorio in so fast. And now she has to do vault and UB too.

  53. imperatorcarolus Says:

14.500 for Becky Downie on UB.

  54. imperatorcarolus Says:

13.400 for Andreoli on floor. After Asia’s injury, I suppose Andreoli will compete AA.

  55. HartofDixie Says:

  56. HartofDixie Says:

She’s posting the routines in this thread.

    • imperatorcarolus Says:

Good videos there. Stream is horrible and every time you refresh it there are at least three advertisments.

  57. imperatorcarolus Says:

Good to see Marta Pihan still competing. Everyone uses to think about Chuso, but I hardly remember a year when I didn’t see Marta Pihan around.

  58. imperatorcarolus Says:

Both Ruby and Georgia Mae off beam.

  59. imperatorcarolus Says:

Messy routine for Kinsella, but she didn’t fall. She had to put a hand to stop her wolf turn, but I doubt it is counted as a fall, it was not obvious enough.

  60. imperatorcarolus Says:

Some breaks for Downie, but her routine was better than the ones by the rest of the team. That should tell GB something.

  61. imperatorcarolus Says:

I am happy to see on Twitter that my dislike for Casella is widely shared among the spanish/italian speakers of such social media.

  62. imperatorcarolus Says:

12-833 for Georgia on beam and I think it is a little high.

  63. imperatorcarolus Says:

    13.233 for Abigail.

  64. imperatorcarolus Says:

13.100 for Ruby, much better than the last time I saw her. Kinsella on.

  65. imperatorcarolus Says:

Manila Exposito becomes the new European AA Champion, with Alice on second, and a very, very overscored Kinsella on third.

    • gymtruthteller Says:

So there is no separate AA? Is there a separate Team?

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

The Olympic year is Team Final year. Things got mixed with the delay of Tokyo, so they are trying to get back on track putting the AA and the quals at the same time. So separate Team Final this year.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

        Got ya. Thanks

  66. imperatorcarolus Says:

    • gymtruthteller Says:

So Alice got third AA? I thought it said 4th? (2 per country?)

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

Manila Exposito won gold, Alice d’Amato won silver, and Andreoli was third, but she was two per countried, so Alice Kinsella, overscored as hell, won bronze.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

Remember when I told you this would be the Italian National Championships 🙂

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

Well, if people keep getting injuried…Andreoli might cletch the position, Martina would take Asia’s and probably Giorgia Iorio’s.

  67. imperatorcarolus Says:

  68. imperatorcarolus Says:

  69. imperatorcarolus Says:

As a somewhat curious fact for you, my dear English-speaking friends, Manila’s surname is “Expósito” (Esposito). In Italian and Spanish, that was the surname given to the babies who were abandoned and the identities of their parents were unknown. The word is still used to talk about abandoned babies, especially those surrended to the government or given away to an orphanage. Although Manila’s parents are known, this surname probably means that one of her ancestors by a male line was abandoned.

  70. Lucia Says:

You have all the respect in the world for Valeri, Konnor? Is that why you were liking tweets about being anywhere Liukin wasn’t? She’s such a liar.

    https://www.nbcolympics.com/news/konnor-mcclain-finds-happiness-ahead-final-push-paris-olympics

  71. imperatorcarolus Says:

This is Giulia Peretti, one of the young stars of Italy. If Casella doesn’t keep effing up, Italy has a great future.

  72. imperatorcarolus Says:

Confirmed: torn ACL for Asia. She will miss the Olympics for sure.

  73. imperatorcarolus Says:

Tomorrow is event finals. Italians are weird and they always finish with team finals, so Saturday event finals, all the same day, and Sunday Team Final. Things begin at 16.25 Spanish and Italian hour.

    • gymtruthteller Says:

That’s weird. Do they always do it this way?

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

I am not sure if they always do it this way, but often enough that I wasn’t surprised when I read it, especially if there is no AA. Money-wise, is better, because people has more time on Saturday, and Team Finals are a better offer for a Sunday than EF.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

Please explain to me why the D’Amato sisters are scored so well when Manila and Angela are so much more enjoyable to watch? Manila I remember seeing before and it registering that she exists, but that is it, but at this meet everything I have seen so far is so much more watchable than D’Amato. I haven’t seen her beam yet, that is next but it just seems like she should be the star of this team. Now I can’t remember her beam but I think I remember being impressed with it. I’ll let you know.

And I am not the ignorant American gymnastics fan that only cares about the Americans but for some reason the Italians and French just leave my memory after watching them once and I think that is what happened to Manila because did she win beam at a major competition in the last year or 2? Maybe I am just getting old. lol

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

Both are very young. Manila and Andreoli are both 2006 babies, so they have been only two years in the elite, whereas de d’Amatos and Giorgia are older and have been in the elite for more years. Manila is usually pretty well scored. Last year she got in both the European and World team, got silver on beam and she usually gets great scores at Serie A and other competitions, so she is pretty good. She is considered in only two years as one of the fundamental ones of the team and I don’t think she will left behind (without an injury, of course), for the Olympics. She is very good and pretty well scored.

Andreoli the problems she has is usually of consistency. She is capable of a lot of difficulty, but have problems to hit in competition completely. Most times is not that she falls or something flashy; she controls the elements pretty well, but she packs important deductions that make her exercises not be as well scored as they ideally would be. If she could hit very well consistently, she would be the best scored out of all the team, with the exception perhaps of Manila. She is pretty young, so they are fixable mistakes and they have already made new routines for her taking out some of the problems, like they are doing with Matina and UB, so she should be on the rise. The problems with Casella, as far as I have heard, steam from her time as a junior and for the problems with Casella and her parents, so Casella doesn’t like her very much, but he will call her if needed (as we have seen here). I hope that Andreoli gets better and have a great competition, so Casella can’t throw the consistency card around to eff with her. She was a star as a junior, very good, and I hope that with more experience she can thrive as a senior.

The French have been the same for a while. Take a look to their new UB worker, the recently turned senior Ming. That is art (if she didn’t change the exercise). The rest are our usual suspects, Coline, Boyer, Charpy and Morgane. I suppose that Ming will be the one sacrified for Olympics when Melanie comes back.

  74. gymtruthteller Says:

Here is an article on Lilia Cosman. She seems to think she is already on the Olympic team, so does her mother. Maybe Romania told them she was?

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/other/a-dream-come-true-holt-gymnast-lilia-cosman-16-to-compete-in-2024-summer-olympics/ar-AA1j5S2T

    • imperatorcarolus Says:

I would be extremely surprised if she wasn’t. I suppose the current Euros team will be Olympic team, unless someone gets injuried, of course. But I would say that Lilia, Ana and Sabrina are sure bets.

  75. imperatorcarolus Says:

Apparatus finals are about to start. It is rumored that Andreoli is warming up on beam (she was two per countried) with Manila. No news about Alice, but she is training her 6.00 routine.

  76. imperatorcarolus Says:

Oh, dammit, the female commentator for the Spanish National Channel is the idiot one. She was saying that she didn’t know if Ondine could get to the Olympic with an ACL tear. How the fuck are you going to be ready in two months with a recent ACL tear, lady?

  77. imperatorcarolus Says:

Vault final. I think this is Colline’s to loose.

  78. imperatorcarolus Says:

13.699 on average for Ming. The vault judges aren’t throwing 9s to everybody. What is this miracle?!

  79. imperatorcarolus Says:

Very elegant Sarah Peter for Hungary, but low scoring vaults. Still, very, very clean. Nice, overall. She reminds me of Isabella Severino, who I loved. 13.033 on average.

  80. imperatorcarolus Says:

Valentina Giorgeva is getting specialized on vault and she is the one who got a place on the Olympics through vault. Only seventeen, I expect to see more of her. Very powerful gymnast. 14.066 for her first vault. Very nice second vault, she should be on the podium despite her second vault being 4.4. 13.799 on average for her.

  81. imperatorcarolus Says:

Marlene Gotthardt, fifteen years old, comes from the generational renovation of Germany. Huge jump in the reception, but she controls it. She seems so young…fuck, I am getting old. The second one is good, but very low scoring. Good for a first experience, though. 13.166

  82. imperatorcarolus Says:

The Spanish Lady is making me nervous. “Lets see another gymnast…”. It is Ana Barbosu, if you don’t know who she is, it is a problem. And you are not going to watch a many more scoring vaults. Vault is currently the apparatus with less competition in general. You are fucked if you try for UB, but in vault, for an European, with Asia and Gadirova out, you have a chance.

  83. imperatorcarolus Says:

Coline on. It is hers to loose. Almost stuck for her first vault, a little short, but very good. 14.366 for her first vault. A little step in her second vault, but it is hers.

  84. imperatorcarolus Says:

Good vault for Barbosu in her first vault. 13.700. 4.8 for her second vault. Very clean second vault. 13.66 for Ana, for fourth place.

  85. imperatorcarolus Says:

Karina on for Germany. Very pretty vault. I hope Germany nortures this new generation, as they have a lot of potential. Very high FTY for the second, she is training for a DTY, and she seems to be ready. 13.466 on average.

    • gymtruthteller Says:

A Yurchenko full in a vault final? Is this 1992?

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

Vault is in crisis. Remember when vault was a very stacked final? Now, it is the best way to medal. Even internationally there aren’t a lot of vaulters.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

Just chuck a Cheng and finish third behind Simone falling and Andrade. That’s how you do it.

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

That’s how Yamilet Peña and Dipa Karamak did it, they got difficulty for vaults they never landed. But it is not worth it risking your neck. But the coaches will see they can get a medal easier right now training two vaults and in the next circle we will have a lot of vaulters again, and less UB workers. It is the circle of gymnastics life.

  86. imperatorcarolus Says:

Camille Rasmussen for Denmark, out of podium at the reception. Not a very good vault, very messy. 13.333. The second one is not very good either, she almost ate the vault. 13.166 for her.

  87. imperatorcarolus Says:

Coline gold, Giorgeva silver (very happy for her) and Ming, on her first year, gets bronze. Barbosu, as usual, gets fourth. It has to be frustrating that it happens so often to you that it is almost a common joke at this point.

  88. imperatorcarolus Says:

UB finals is about to start. Much more stacked than vault final, that’s for sure. Alice, Iorio, Georgia Mae Fenton and Filipa Martins. Zoja is here, the one fucked up in Olypic quals, so I hope she medals here, only because of that.

  89. imperatorcarolus Says:

Becky Downie is first, but I don’t put a lot of trust in her exercise.

    • imperatorcarolus Says:

Downie fell. She hit in quals, so it was bound to happen. She will do good again on TF.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

She is inconsistent and would never be on a team where the team could win a medal. This Olympics where they will be lucky to finish top 6 I can see them taking her for a chance at a bar final but doubtful a medal but if someone gets injured , she can’t back anyone up. And GB has been falling like toy soldiers.

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

GB have a lot of gymnasts that are inconsistent and have long career. Dammit, Becky is 32, she is not going to get consistent now. But I haven’t seen a competition where Kinsella doesn’t fall, for example. GB in general is inconsistent. And when a lot of people is inconsistent in a team, I blame the coaches. You train that too. The Gadirovas have other coaches, and they are much more consistent that the rest of GB. That can’t be by chance.

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

        13.633 for her.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

Ridiculous score for a fall. This Europeans is going to be in for a huge awakening come the Olympics.

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

I am NOT happy with that. But at least this is a packed event, so their shaeningans will not give GB a medal with her this time.

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

They have given her full 6.6 difficulty, which is unfair because she wasn’t even close to completing one of the elements that gave her a lot of D-score, including the connection.

  90. imperatorcarolus Says:

Very clean exercise for Filipa. I think she took something out, but still a lot of difficulty. 13.700 with 5.4.

  91. imperatorcarolus Says:

Great set for Iorio, wonderful dismount, loved it.

    • imperatorcarolus Says:

14.366. 6.3 difficulty. A fair difficulty, unlike Downie’s. Why are the Italians favouring GB, it goes against everything we Mediterranean people feel, it goes against our DNA.

  92. imperatorcarolus Says:

Kevric for Germany didn’t do a good exercise, but she is sixteen and with a bright future. All the German team is new and very young. She saved the exercise and didn’t fell, which in some moments was a miracle. 13.866, she has a very high D.score.

  93. imperatorcarolus Says:

UB judges: if we go again to the system that you don’t really mind the execution, but if you have a high D-score you medal, it is a mistake. You know what happened with vault.

    • gymtruthteller Says:

I know how it works but certain gymnasts always seem to get gift scores and you know how that drives me nuts:)

  94. imperatorcarolus Says:

Good for Rafa, the male commentator and Spanish ex-gymnasts, calling out how unfair is for a gymnast who didn’t fall and one who did ending up with the same score.

  95. imperatorcarolus Says:

    13.700 for Weslund.

  96. imperatorcarolus Says:

Zsoja fells, I shouldn’t have said anything.

  97. imperatorcarolus Says:

Alice on. Italy is incredibly consistent. Very calm, very well done. Downie could never. I am very mad at Downie score, she fell, she shouldn’t have been credited a fucking 6.6.If she medals with a fall I am going to get incredibly destructive.

    • imperatorcarolus Says:

14.600, Alice on first. I liked Iorio’s better, but pretty good both of them.

    • gymtruthteller Says:

She’s second to last so she won’t medal but the judges are doing GB no service by overscoring this team and thinking this will hold up at the Olympics.

  98. imperatorcarolus Says:

Nice set for Giorgia Mae-Fenton, with some problems with the handstands and a huge step in the dismount. (She tried to hide it, but it was very obvious. Imaginary point for trying, though. IMAGINARY, JUDGES, I SAID IMAGINARY).

    • gymtruthteller Says:

So I have been watching some European videos on youtube and I am sorry (not sorry) but this girls gymnastics is just gross. She is so sloppy.

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

It is GB. GB hasn’t be consistent in all their history. They get by by high D-scores in especific events, and by the Gadirovas being coached by other people. Even Elizabeth Tweedle (God bless her, the stupidity she had to endure at GB federation, loved her) had more than questionable form and dismounts.

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

But GMF is very elegant, very long lines and packed difficulty. Judges love this kind of gymnasts, because they are all more than a little chauvinistic, especially European, old school judges.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

The bars was messy skill wise but her form looked better than it has in the past.

  99. imperatorcarolus Says:

13.900 for Giorgia. Gold for Alice, Silver for Iorio and bronze for GMF.

  100. imperatorcarolus Says:

  101. imperatorcarolus Says:

The mascot for Rimini 2024 is a monkey who gives the gold medalist big bananas…I am so proud of myself for not having said anything inappopiate and of very bad taste yet.

    • gymtruthteller Says:

You deserve a cookie for that. I am surprised someone is crying racism over this

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

We are Europeans, we have other codes of symbolism. You should see which ones were one of my favourite sweets since I was a kid. If someone is going to take offense (I doubt it, because, again, Europeans) would be more for the giant bananas being handled out to some minors. I am surprised no one have done a very bad taste joke as of yet.

  102. imperatorcarolus Says:

Beam final next. Two Spanish gymnasts here! Pray for us.

    • gymtruthteller Says:

What happened to the girl who qualified for the Olympics, Laura ? Her last name starts with a C. I am too lazy to look it up

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

Laura Casabuena is here, but had a minor injury in her buttock and her place at the Olympics is only for her, so they are trying to keep her healthy.

  103. imperatorcarolus Says:

So for beam I have hope for Ana Pérez, who ended up with the fourth higher score. Alba Petisco is here, too.

  104. imperatorcarolus Says:

It was said that Andreoli was warming up, but both Alice and Manila are here, so I don’t know what that was about. I hope Casella is not playing mind games with the kid.

  105. imperatorcarolus Says:

Ana Pérez had it very though with injuries, so it would be glorious for her to medal here.

  106. Lucia Says:

There seems to be very little interest for Europeans this year. Is it because the Russians, and Gadorova’s aren’t here? I haven’t even heard much complaining about the scoring being unfair. I have to admit, I am disinterested. Most of these gymnasts have zero shot at EF or medals when the United states, China and Brazil are in the mix. With the Olympics being in France, I think Coline Devillard might have a shot at making finals on vault, and maybe Sabrina on floor, or beam, but not much else.

  107. imperatorcarolus Says:

Marine Boyer on. She mostly hits, but there are some dubious connections and some breaks.

    • gymtruthteller Says:

She’s another one I find over scored.

    • imperatorcarolus Says:

Love the mint green outfit, by the way.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

You have to sign in to watch and it’s a Saturday, so today, I give no efforts, including while sitting on my ass:) I will live through you. I’m also too lazy to get up and eat (I am starving)

    • imperatorcarolus Says:

14.033. If they are putting that bar, they better do it for everyone.

  108. imperatorcarolus Says:

Wonderful exercise for Manila. That beginning, those wolf turns…Manila is great.

    • gymtruthteller Says:

      Even I like her 🙂

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

That is the highest of praises. Stop the World! GTT actively LIKES SOMEONE!

      • gymtruthteller Says:

I like a few gymnasts.lol But yes, I am critical. I sat through years of Bela Karolyi’s gymnasts getting ridiculous scores because they were coached by Bela, and that made me harsh 🙂

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

You usually don’t like anyone born after 1995. This is a miracle performed by Manila.

  109. imperatorcarolus Says:

14.400 for Manila. GO, MANILA, GO!

    • gymtruthteller Says:

I’m taking 5 tenths off everyone’s scores from this meet for the judges inability to be logical to see how these scores match up with reality.

  110. imperatorcarolus Says:

Alice on. Not her best set, with several breaks, especially at the beginning, but she nailed her most difficult elements and her upgraded dismount.

  111. imperatorcarolus Says:

13.266, lots of penalties for her. 0.4 less than in quals, she especially didn’t connect the elements at the beginning.

  112. imperatorcarolus Says:

Ana did very good, but with a huge break in the middle and I think she didn’t connect some things, but she did pretty good. And no wolf turns, so this makes her routine 10% better.

  113. imperatorcarolus Says:

12.933, around 0.3 less than in quals.

  114. imperatorcarolus Says:

Great routine for Sabrina, it is her highest D-score routine, with one of the most difficult acrobatics to date. Only one huge break of form, but there are elements of very high difficulty that she manages to do with security. She will probably get into first for the difficulty alone.

    • imperatorcarolus Says:

      Need to get that video.

    • imperatorcarolus Says:

14.166, so into second. They have being very rigorous with the E-score, a little way too much in my opinion.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

Her form is usually very suspect but Jade is just as bad and judges don’t care, so..

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

She is getting better. She is a new senior, after all. And with many problems with the federation. Jade has always been that way.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

Sabrina is adorable. She’s very likable but girl, your form, FIX IT, or at least attempt to fox it.

  115. imperatorcarolus Says:

  116. imperatorcarolus Says:

The monkey has given Marine Boyer a fake chicken…I want to know what the people in charge of mascot things have been smoking.

  117. imperatorcarolus Says:

Amalia on. Nice enough set, although a little low in the jumps.

  118. imperatorcarolus Says:

The comments saying that the promising junior gymnasts are seniors at last. How fast have you forgotten about Staniuslescu, Duta, etc., whom you presented as the new gold medalists and disregarded as soon as the problems began, eh?

    • gymtruthteller Says:

And the juniors they have at Europeans weren’t scored well so not sure the future is bright either. Though I found them watchable enough.

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

They are good. Pretty good but Romania needs to be realistic and know that they are not going to regain the place they had before 2010, because of their own idiocy. And they can attempt to get individual medals with Sabrina or Ana, but that’s it. Romania Federation seems to live in delulu land in which if the wish it long enough, they will regain their previous place in gymnastics. And the need to realize that is not going to happen. These girls need and deserve and realistic federation who treat them properly.

  119. imperatorcarolus Says:

13.500 for Lilia Cosman, not Amalia.

    • gymtruthteller Says:

Lilia isn’t given the Romanian name, extra tenths like her teammates are. #JusticeForLilia

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

She got better score than in quals. They took her out of beam rooster for TF. There are something there they didn’t like. They put Amalia.

  120. imperatorcarolus Says:

Alba did good. No falls, with some breaks but good job. A beam final without falls. Do the wonders never cease?

  121. imperatorcarolus Says:

Gold for Manila (the most deserving gold I have seen in forever), Sabrina silver and Marine bronze.

  122. imperatorcarolus Says:

Apparently, the monkey’s name is Luigi.

    • gymtruthteller Says:

      That makes sense

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

I suppose that if that happened in Spain we will have a bull named Manolo or something like that.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

WE would have some dumbass name spelled weirdly if it was the US.lol

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

Kaileighinged or something. Why in USA is normal to try to be original with names? Don’t name your kids weird things. They are the ones who have to live with it.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

If you’re black you don’t get normal names and if you’re white, they try and be unique and spell a name like Mary, Merray.lol Parents are stupid and have 0 respect for what their kids will have to deal with.

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

Don’t fuck with the kids. Period. We don’t care if you are trying to be “original”. In Spain there is a law in which you can’t name your kids something that will be harmful to them. I find that most of this original shit fall under that cathegory. I read a post on “Am I the Asshole?” in which a person had named her baby “Harlot”. How stupid do you have to be?

      • gymtruthteller Says:

There is someone instagram that named their baby, Poo.

  123. imperatorcarolus Says:

Floor final about to start. The tittle should be between Sabrina and Manila, but Andreoli should be there, too, if she whips out her most difficult routine.

    • gymtruthteller Says:

I feel like if she hits they will give this to Sabrina. Form doesn’t matter to judges , only start value so they could have given her beam if they went their usual way of BS. We will see. Maybe Alice can upgrade a few tenths, she’s last I believe.

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

No Alice, Andreoli. Alice was two per countried.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

When I say Alice I mean Kinsella.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

I call the D’Amato sisters (are they twins) by their last name.

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

Ok, got it. Well, now we know the one competing is Alice. Poor Asia, she was with Martina in the stands.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

With Europeans being at home, I can see why everyone competed. Those girls are always getting injured. Casela> Marta

    • gymtruthteller Says:

Andreaoli did get a 3 tenths deductions which would have tied her with Sabrina (TwO feet, OOB?)

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

Yep, OOB. Without OOB, she wouldn’t have the deduction and better E-score.

  124. imperatorcarolus Says:

Kinsella is there, but I don’t like her usual overscoring, so I hope for a podium in which Andreoli is there. Everything that means pissing Casella off is good for me.

  125. imperatorcarolus Says:

Ming first, she had problems in the first pass, and then with an strage problem in the second. She stuck the last one, though. Not her best set, and she is going to get slammered in E-score, but for her first competition as a senior, she did great.

  126. imperatorcarolus Says:

Voinea on. She is extremely enjoyable to watch. Of course, then you see Jade medal and want to burn the judges’s stand down. Better form, especially in the last three passes. She get OOB in the first pass, and didn’t finished the triple turn, but very good exercise.

    • imperatorcarolus Says:

13.900 for her. We saw her mother, and holy shit that lady needs to go easier on the eye color.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

Her mother seems to be toxic, always starting trouble. She needs to stop because I can’t imagine those girls on the Romanian team are can be nice to her over the shit her mother has pulled.

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

Knowing Romanian Federation, without knowing which was the issue, I tend to go with the mother. Romanian Federation break people and they are this way because of their own fault.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

Sabrina upped her start value by a tenth, same execution as prelims. AND, And OOB

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

        13.700, sorry, with a 5.9.

  127. imperatorcarolus Says:

    Sabrina’s beam:

  128. imperatorcarolus Says:

Ok for Abigail Martins, OOBs too.

  129. imperatorcarolus Says:

    WONDERFUL, MANILA! LOVE YOU, QUEEN!

    • imperatorcarolus Says:

That Jade or Simone or Kinsella got ahead of routines like Manila’s should be illegal in this sport.

  130. imperatorcarolus Says:

13,833 for Manila and into first.

  131. imperatorcarolus Says:

Morgane on. She did well. I enjoy her floor more than Melanie’s. God, flashback of Melanie’s horrid music of last year. They better fix that shit for the Olympics. I usually don’t care for the French being disrespected, but it would be disrespectful for the French star to be given that music in an Olympics in Paris.

    • gymtruthteller Says:

French are overrated dancers. (runs and hides:)

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

Do you really think that a Spaniard is going to tell you off for insulting French people? You wound me.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

        LOL.I havn’t been in history class since the 80s. I remember nothing.lol

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

Spanish people and French people don’t get along. Or British people and French people. Or Italian people with French people. Or German people with French people. French people don’t play well with others through history in general.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

So France is full of assholes? Got it. 🙂
In the US are Politicians are always trying to start another cold war with Russia. And China. Biden is a POS, Senile, war mongrel so he can line his pockets. I need to stop now.

    • imperatorcarolus Says:

      13.300 for Morgane.

  132. imperatorcarolus Says:

Alba on. She did great! Better than quals.

  133. imperatorcarolus Says:

13.233 for Alba and into fourth.

  134. imperatorcarolus Says:

Andreoli on. She did good but but a little short on the jumps. If she has problems in her ankles and she is competing, Cassella, I will find you and send Liam Neesson after you.

  135. imperatorcarolus Says:

Kinsella hits. Better than in quals, I think, but Andreoli also scored better.

    • gymtruthteller Says:

So Italian National championships it is ?

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

We still have the Martina, Giorgia, Iorio question.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

Why did Lorio only do bars here?

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

Iorio is a bar especialist. She can do everything, but her scores are lower than the rest of the girls, so she was scheduled only to compete UB, but was able to step in and do vault when Asia got injuried. Tomorrow she is scheduled to do floor too instead of Alice. So she can do AA, but her scores are lower than the rest, so she usually doesn’t compete it.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

Do you think she will be the one left out? With all the injuries, it’s just stupid to take a one event gymnast.

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

It is not really a one event gymnast, because she is able to do AA. It is not like when you take Downie or stuff like that. She is able, is just that she scores lower, so you can take the risk knowing that she can deliver
AA if necessary. It is just that if you are deciding between gymnasts, you see which one could give you most chances for a medal or to boost team scores, and Alice, Giorgia and Manila can give you roughly the same score as Iorio. They need the most a vaulter, because Asia not only give them chances of vault medal, her highest scoring vault gave them a boost. Or an UB especialists to take out Martina and Angela if needed for team final, as it is their worst apparatus. But they really doesn’t need anything, because Manila Alice, Martina and Andreoli are AAers with high scores in all events, so they can take whoever they want.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

Unless it’s a splast fest, bars is the one event where you need a 6.8 to medal, so Lorio would only matter for team.

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

If you are well covered with the other four, it is just a matter to see which event is the weakest for the main AAer, or take the next highest scoring AAer just in case.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

Dies Italy have a trials for the Olympics?

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

I don’t know. Most of the European federations have an internal control. The national championships can be done before the main continental championships or the Worlds/Olympics or not, and those results are not binding. I remember that Russia used to have Russian Cup and Russian Championship before the European/Worlds and the only spot guaranteed was for the main AAers. The rest of the spots were awarded internally. Think about Italy like that.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

You know I am team Maggio. They are send the D’Amato no matter what, and I think Manila just certified her spot. Should be interesting.

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

Manila is going, no questions asked. Alice is going, too. Andreoli should go. And Martina, is she is okay, is going, too, so four AAer. The remaining question is if you take Giorgia for UB/Beam, Iorio for UB, or see if you can get someone with more power for vault especially.

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

I don’t know how Desireé Carofligio is, but she used to have two vaults. I haven’t seen her since 2022. A vaulter would have the best bet to replace Asia.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

Do we know how Maggio looks yet?

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

She looks good, she was at World Cups recently. Last seen at Doha. She did bad on UB, but it had always been her worst apparatus (hence why Iorio/Giorgia would make sense for team final, but they could use Andreoli, Alice and Manila without issue).

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

But if I have to bet right now for the Olympics, the team would be Manila, Alice, Andreoli, Martina and Giorgia. Because Casella loves Giorgia (I do too) and he owes her one (I know that is not a excuse, but she is pretty close to Iorio, so in similar circumnstances, she is going to be the one taken to the Olymplics). But most probably injuries will decide the spots.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

So say Martina can’t make it back, then it will be Lorio?

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

Probably, but Martina would have given more to the team.

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

Iorio would kept her spot, and Giorgia would take Asia’s spot, although they would have better rounded up with Martina.

  136. imperatorcarolus Says:

No podium for Kinsella. Gold for Manila (Yes, queen, love ya), silver for Sabrina and Andreoli bronze (in your face, Cassella).

  137. imperatorcarolus Says:

  138. imperatorcarolus Says:

Pretty late to the game, because it is Mother’s Day here in Spain and I am at my mom’s. Almost half of the team final underway and it seems that everyone and their mother is falling or having not very good routines, except for Italy.

Downie hits, but by their scores Kinsella and GMF had to have some problems.

  140. imperatorcarolus Says:

Iorio is so nice to watch. So quiet, so calm…Hitting hadstands in a way GB have never even be able to imagine…

  141. imperatorcarolus Says:

After two rotations, Spain is two points to the podium, with some of their best apparatus (vault and UB) still to go.

  142. imperatorcarolus Says:

Italy won gold, even with Iorio doing floor and vault, and GB only went for silver because France was unable to stuck anything but vault, where she has two especialists. Bad day for Romania, too, with several falls. But even with the best GB has right now, Italy went over two points, so when USA, China, Japan, Brazil, etc., are in the mix, they are going to get a dosis of reality.

  143. imperatorcarolus Says:

Of what we have seen in this Europeans, Italy and Manila get on top. Manila is wonderful, all my love to her (Casella, stay away from that kid!) Italy needs a vault/floor worker to compensate Asia, as we have seen Iorio brings down the final scores, although in an Olympic final they would have brounght Alice to the floor. Martina can do that work nicely.

    • gymtruthteller Says:

I am not sure the Olympic judges will score Manila as well as she was scored here . She has some great routines in the 14s here but the real judges are much more strict , and frankly they cheat for the names .

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

Manila is a name now. If Italy plays their card rights (and Casella is on charge, so no), they can become the new European power, and the judges are really looking forward having another European power to favour. They have done it for GB (they have gotten more gifts here than Italy herself) but GB is on the downslide right now.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

There is a name and there is a name . She’s not going to get the special shit Simone and Rebeca get .

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

Nobody is going to get away with the shit Simone and Rebecca does. Maybe Downie or Nina.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

A better example , Sanne Wever. Olympic champ , still over scored but not even close to medals in real meets . Top 8 if lucky

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

But Sanne fails a lot. A lot, a lot. She has a lot of problems to be consistent and her exercise doesn’t allow even a mistake, or the D-score falls dramatically. When she rarely hits, she is given a lot of leeway.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

But she doesn’t get the benefit the US girls do .

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

But that is not personal leverage. That is the “Big Countries” leverage. USA is always given the benefit of the doubt. Always, even when they don’t even need it.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

Not always .Leanne got hosed last year especially when you look at the results this year

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

That was inside information, because USA lowballed her too. I don’t know what is happening there, but someone inside USA doesn’t like Leanne. But the gifts that Simone, Jordan, Morgan, JADE have gotten over the years…it is so obvious that USA is favoured, especially know that the other countries that usually got gifts, like Romania and Russia, aren’t really competing at its level.

    • gymtruthteller Says:

I can’t find individual scores for team finals . I’ll look when I get home but I am supposed to take my niece to the movies tonight so maybe tomorrow . Romania finished 4th , falls or not they should feel at least some pride .

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

Everyone and their mother fell. On one Twitter account it was says that Germany is the only country that didn’t take any falls. I didn’t see Italy fall, but they must have before I got it.

  144. imperatorcarolus Says:

The teams that we will probably seen at the Olympics as we have seen here, or with one substitution or less will be Romania, GB, France (Melanie will probably be the only substitution, for Lorette most probably, as Ming’s vault is more necessary than Lorette’s bars), Spain and Italy (with Martina for Asia and maybe Giorgia for Ilorio).

  145. imperatorcarolus Says:

Read that Andreoli fell on beam and that was Italy’s fall.

    • imperatorcarolus Says:

To be quite honest, I find it difficult to take seriously something called “Core hydration”. Good recommendation in the face of the summer, though.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

        It’s really just water. lol

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

But it sound so unserious. Can’t they say “USA Classics, supported by Core Hidration” like always? Why they have to change the name? That is only going to confuse people and won’t make anyone buy that water.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

It’s all about the money. they get money for naming rights

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

I understand the logic, I just don’t think it is useful for marketing strategies. Some people is not going to get this weird named thingy is the USA Classics and the constant interruption of brands while you are enjoying something so like make me hate it (hello, Oreos).

      • gymtruthteller Says:

        Poor Oreos.

      • imperatorcarolus Says:

        Oreos doesn’t deserve your pity.

  147. HartofDixie Says:

They really didn’t make this fair with the sessions!

I dislike that girl. She is the most obnoxious person at Reddit. She also used to run an account called, Gutsu Fan at youtube, and posted as Kotchekova fan at IG Message board. She hates Shannon Miller.

There was a discussion about gymnasts robbed of medals, and for the first time she said nothing. I was in shock that she could shut up on the subject. She was called out a few times on the subject so maybe she finally learned that harassing people people just makes you hated (Reddit is not like this place, you can’t have an opinion the majority doesn’t agree with or the mod bans you)
