Wow!! I’m not even sure where to begin. She went from art, to make-up, to therapy, to depression, to poems, back to make-up. She seems to have too much time on her hands. Is she back in training? Anyone know?

Oh yeah, she was also going shopping because “I have no clothes.” And she wants to stay in touch with her fans because “my twitter is so negative half the time and I’m not a negative person.” Lol I wonder what Marta will have to say about this one.

I’m not sure I’ll be able to go past the 2 minute mark. In fact I know I won’t. She’s rambling. And to be honest I don’t know if I care what she says.

I just looked at twitter and she’s mostly been posting about the beach,photo shoots, and random stuff. I didn’t see anything about training recently unless she just doesn’t want to talk about it on twitter. I would imagine she would at least be conditioning or light training by now.

In the video she said she hasn’t been able to be active or train yet to heal from injury. So no she hasn’t been at the gym. She does seem to be really bored.

I think the poor girl needs something to do. Does she not go to school still? Maybe she should try summer school or something. If she wants to reach out to fans, she could always do the charity rounds and such. Anything on the Internet these days only generates a bunch of creeps in their basements.

Oh yeah, forgot about that. Bet she’s too much of a Princess for one of those. My deadbeat 18-year-old cousin claims that he “can’t” get a job and then cites the whole 50% plus unemployment figure for 18-24 year olds. I think about telling him maybe that’s why he should go to college but I rest my case. He “did” get a job at a local amusement park a few months ago but then lost it within the first 3 weeks for not showing up. That’s our generation now.

Does McKayla even really have sponsorships beyond adidas gymnastics though? And that soda thing she did for like a week. I feel like she has so much exposure she should be everywhere but she isn’t really.

It’s strange she’s so against going to college when she’s got some great schools around her and presumably her parents can afford it. If she doesn’t want to study theatre or whatever at college (it’s fine, it’s not for everyone), she could at least try going to an acting school in LA.
She seems bored and lost. She has the time to pick up a new hobby, volunteer, work whatever. She’s only 18 and she must have so many opportunities to do something.

McKayla Maroney like has watched every Jenna marbles video. She has a promotional contract with ATT like Jordyn does, and had one with keek, which I guess is no more. Her parents are rich in the OC. She doesnt need to work. Think Kristin cavallari and the hills….watch an internship at teen people is in her future. And a reality show about moving to LA.

Mckayla Maroney is a spoiled little bitch and on her way to a mental breakdown. Her nose turn after falling on her ass in London was the antics of a spoilt brat. Yet somehow she came out looking good from it. But one day those antics are not going to be admired.
Nevermind she isn’t any worse than the other Fierce Five. Though none of them are that fierce. More like meek and on reflection completely boring as a team.

I agree they were boring. In the end they just don’t cut it when it comes to teams you remember. I guess it was the overscoring and the fact they had it from the first event.
At least Mckayla apologized Nastia never did.

They were boring but they did their job. Gymnasts like ASac (good ones, that actually have personality whether you like it or not) don’t come around that often.
Maroney loves herself too much; it’s blatant when she feels the need to post YouTube videos of herself in that manner. And the Instagram photos. Good gawd. It’s pretty obnoxious IMO.
And yes she’s very spoiled and comes from a very rich family. Like 1% rich.

Taking instagrams of yourself all day must be utterly exhausting, I don’t know how some of these girls do it. A huge assumption being made here but I think her mum probably enjoys having Mac home and having a buddy around, so is probably willing to let her hang around the house all day until she’s ready to train again.

McKayla wants to be “discovered” on YouTube. The video made sad as a parent. Regardless of her parents income, most parents require their kids(18 & over) to either go to college or find a job. Even Victoria and David Beckham’s son has a job in a coffee shop in London. They are definitely wealthy, but they want their kids to learn about financial responsibility.
