You’re fired, Jeselo teams

Shawn Johnson will be on this season of Celebrity Apprentice. I can not stomach Donald Trump due to the fact he’s an arrogant jerk Yankee fan so instead of a picture of him telling Shawn she is fired I leave you with this video. It makes Donald Trump cry:) ( I will see if I can find the interview before game 7 where he acts like the Yankees will win. Its classic 39.04 in. Just listen to the fake applause for the Sox and then the but arrogance. What a douche bag. 3930 in Yogi Berra acting like he is still part of the team. )

Start spreading the news. I’m leaving today. I want to be apart of it, in all ………………………….

Jeselo Teams named. I really wish Kyla would get rested from these no name meets like Simone is being rested. Mykayla gets a meet. Interesting.

I guess Laurie and Amelia are still injured.

Which names are missing from this list besides Price, Dowell and Biles?

Alyssa Baumann, Plano, Texas/WOGA
Madison Desch, Lenexa, Kan./Great American Gymnastics Express
Peyton Ernst, Coppell, Texas/Texas Dreams Gymnastics
Rachel Gowey, Urbandale, Iowa/Chow’s Gymnastics and Dance Institute
Madison Kocian, Dallas, Texas/WOGA
Maggie Nichols, Little Canada, Minn./Twin City Twisters
Kyla Ross, Aliso Viejo, Calif./Gym-Max
Mykayla Skinner, Gilbert, Ariz./Desert Lights Gymnastics

Jordan Chiles, Vancouver, Wash./Naydenov Gymnastics
Nia Dennis, Westerville, Ohio/Buckeye Gymnastics
Norah Flatley, Cumming, Iowa/Chow’s Gymnastics and Dance Institute
Emily Gaskins, Coral Springs, Fla./Cincinnati Gymnastics
Bailie Key, Coppell, Texas/Texas Dreams Gymnastics
Ragan Smith, Dacula, Ga./Texas Dreams Gymnastics

This is hilarious. Don’t watch at the library.

No surprise Polina wasnt chosen, but I wonder why Nica wasn’t chosen?

    • gymtruthteller Says:

      Maybe she is injured?

      • sainabou nyang Says:

Nica maybe, but I read somewhere that Polina wasnt at camp so that would explain her not being picked . Either way Im still baffled at her coaches/ parents not upping her difficulty and making her competitive to be in contention for intl assignments.

Also any bets as to who Marta chooses for Tokyo WC? Rumor has it Peyton wont be going.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

Peyton is inconsistent no conspiracy if she doesn’t get chosen. Polina is going to College she is overrated as a gymnast (sloppier than most)

      • byrdisthewyrd Says:

I read that Maggie Nichols is going to Tokyo instead of Peyton.

  2. Exgymgurl Says:

Lexie and Polina…..Millet is apparently focusing on Auburn and not elite… I think Kyla, was rested not competing scam. My guess is Europe loves her international look, and it should be an easy AA win for her this year. It will be interesting to see if she just does bars beam and rests or if she competes aa

  3. Exgymgurl Says:

Mykayla competed jewels in 2012 just not with the team. As the alternate….. Scary Amanar….

  4. Exgymgurl Says:

Jewels = jesolo dumb auto correct

  5. Melanie Says:

Marta must be throwing Mykayla a bone so that she can then push her into NCAA. Which is weird, because Marta usually just likes to break a gymnast’s spirit before discarding her.

  6. JAS4 Says:

It seems like there was training footage of Lexie at camp a few months ago but she might just not have full routines ready and the same with Amelia

  7. Lis Says:

I’m wondering why they’re resting Dowell and Price but not Kyla. Surely they’d take Kyla to Pac Rims over Dowell (if Biles is healthy). Also, taking eight seniors… be interesting to see who doesn’t compete all around.

    Excited for the new juniors!

    • mim Says:

I guess Kyla rested through scam and is ready for light competition. I’m happy Rachel Gowey made the national team!

Shawn on a third reality show GAG.

    • Akshay Says:

Don’t get me wrong, I loved Shawn as a gymnast. I was a huge Shawn fan from 07, and I wanted her on the 2012 team. I was pretty upset when things didn’t work out there. But now, I’m kind of tired of hearing about her, particularly when she’s on every single reality TV show ever. She should just go for the kill and be the next Bachelorette.

      • Gymbee Says:

I agree with you. But I changed my mind when in april/may, she was STILL harping on about how much she couldn’t wait to show people her “new routines”, when it was evident she hadn’t been in the gym for months, and already retired.

        Way to trick fans!

      • exgymgurl Says:

She had an offer to be the Bachelorette at one point, but passed because of one of her boyfriends that she dumped. Right after her first DWTSS gig

      • Gymbee Says:

Omg, wasn’t she just 17 after her first DWTS run? That’s kind of creepy.

      • sanitynmotion Says:

I highly doubt that given her age and the fact that the show has recycled its bachelors/ bachelorettes from previous seasons for many years now…

      • exgymgurl Says:

They were going to wait until she was 18 was my understanding. It was a concept that did not get picked up. More like her search for love or something. Just a rumor, now she has a pretty serious guy…..

      • sanitynmotion Says:

I can imagine the public outcry for casting an 18-year-old in that spot. For starters, at 18 you are NOT ready to be engaged yet – way too young – and that show is ALL ABOUT engagement. In fact the producers were steaming mad that the last Bachelor (Juan Pablo dude) didn’t use the ring that was given to him to propose to the chick he ended up using/choosing.

Plus, Shawn Johnson is portrayed in that America’s Sweetheart lighting – whether she really is one or not. Can you imagine her doing the overnight date episodes? Tonguing multiple men on television in front of other young impressionable kids who look up to their favorite gymnast Shawn Johnson? Yeah, I think not. NO way was that ever going to happen. Maybe on another dating type of show; one that’s more innocent. The Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise is anything but innocent.

Finally that show has been all about using recycled former contestants as the next Bachelor/Bachelorette. They’ve been doing it for years. I used to watch the show all the time but after I got tired of the formulaic layout and was clued in to the extent of the fakery that happens behind the scenes I canned it. It was taking up too much of my TV time anyways and I much prefer Amazing Race.

  9. Cee Says:

Donald Trump is a misogynistic, delusional (birther), thin-skinned (absolutely goes ballistic when anyone pokes any fun at him), narcissistic POS. I never watch his shows and in fact I turned off Today last week when I saw his nasty face on my screen. Really, the only thing to his credit are his children who are inexplicably well-mannered, hard-working and intelligent. Regardless, he’s gross. Shawn needs to get out of there.

I can’t really blame Shawn for wanting to ride the celebrity train for what it’s worth–I’d much, MUCH rather watch her than a Kardashian who hasn’t done anything. Shawn put in a whole career before she even turned 18, she’s earned it. But I don’t want her to wear out her brand–I’d rather she do commercials and commentating than reality shows.

  10. mim Says:

I wonder what’s happening with Finnegan and Vega… it seems that neither is likely to make a mark on the elite scene from now on.

    • Catherine Says:

Vega has a knee injury. Finnegan may not be ready to show full routines, which they had to do at this camp.

      • H Says:

Do you think they come back at elite level?

I think it would have been grate , but I very much doubt it.
        How do you see it?

      • Catherine Says:

Vega, no. Hard to tell with Finnegan. Really it all depends on their desire for college or how far they want to go with elite. Finnegan COULD be the Ohashi beam girl but she’d really need decent bars too.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

Ohashi was overrated and overscored on bars. She really wasn’t a beam bars specialist even if they needed her to be. IMO

      • sanitynmotion Says:

I agree. The US really needs a solid bar worker and we’re two years out from Rio. Good for Kyla but I hope she’s working on upgrades because if she wants to beat Russia/China for a medal she’ll need them.

I know – we say that as often as Shawn says “it’s bittersweet” and “it would mean the world to me” and all the other fun Shawn-isms.

      • Catherine Says:

Ohashi’s ticket to Antwerp was her 6.9+ beam set. It would have fitted in beautifully with that team. Nanning though would need more than one event, and bars needs help. Ohashi’s bars could have been great without the pirouettes.

  11. Gymbee Says:

What was that cliche Shawn ALWAYS said before the olympics. Like literally in every interview, something “it wasnt meant to be” or something.

Who thinks she will bring up her knee on this thing too?

Next reality show should be titled “Shawn’s Knee”.

  12. exgymgurl Says:

I guess the whole I’m getting an apartment and going to Vanderbilt thing lasted like one quarter
