Looks like the Biles opening a gym is true.

I heard this info earlier but it went over my head until it was posted in the comments section by a girl named Julie. (Thanks Julie)

According to USA-Gymnastics, Simone Biles gym is listed as World Champions Centre and a quick search on google brings up this and this address

Registered Agent Address is the address of the agent who’s name is on the lease not the address of the building the gym is located at.

Company Name: Biles World Champions Centre Employees, LLC
Status: Active Filing Date: 01/22/2014
Entity Type: Limited-Liability Company File Number: 0801919989
Filing State: Texas (TX) Registered Agent: Rn Biles Investments, LLC
Registered Agent Address: 5719 Romulus Court
Spring, TX 77386

I don’t believe this to be the gym’s address just the address to the person who owns the property.

Google maps is crazy ass fun. I just checked out my work and house. It is really weird that I can see this.

It never made sense to me that Simone’s coach would leave a gym mid way through a season unless she had a place to go.

I usually ignore anonymous info when it comes through this blog but ever since that anon told us Mckayla would be doing the AA the night before anyone else knew well now I do some re-search and then decide instead of just ignoring it. b (re-thinking this)

The gym is owned by Somone’s parents not Simone so she is fine on all accounts.

I try to be respectful and tell where I got my info from instead of stealing it from places and then taking credit for it but from now on I am done with that. So mature people but to each their own.

Top 100 US Olympians of all time has several gymnasts including Mary Lou Retton, Shannon Miller, Kerri Strugh, Shawn Johnson and someone else. Also includes Michelle Kwan.

A new petition to sign for Skating. 15 thousand so far. Not bad. I know these are useless but sign it anyway. You never know.

  1. JAS4 Says:

Wonder why they are deciding to build a gym now

    • gymtruthteller Says:

You don’t just decide to build a gym. This must have been in the works for a long time.

      • sanitynmotion Says:

And when Simone won her title they found a name for said gym, lol.

  2. JAS4 Says:

Maybe they’ve been thinking about.it for awhile and they just decided to go for it now while its still early in the quad and maybe also to make sure they were able to get Aimee on board so Simone could keep her coach I can’t remember if I read it.on here or tumblr but wasn’t Aimee likely going to leave Bannons anyways so maybe they decided to go ahead with their plans for a gym before Aimee took a job.somewhere else

    • gymtruthteller Says:

Aimee leaving Bannon’s anyway was from here. You know how places are when they know you are leaving anyway. It couldn’t have been a pleasant experience.

      • JAS4 Says:

Yeah maybe that’s why they decide to go ahead and leave like maybe they were planning on making the move after the competition season but things got bad enough that they couldn’t wait any longer I also read somewhere that Simon’s sister is still at Bannons do you have any idea.if that’s true or not? (Sorry for the bad typing but I got a new phone and the predictive text is driving me crazy lol)

  3. tulip Says:

I like this for Simone and Aimee. Especially Simone. As the gym owner, that immediately gives her more clout with Marta and USAG. Because this is bigger than Simone. Love it! Her grandparents must be the most wonderful people. Love them!

  4. gymnerd Says:

Idiots. Way to put the pressure on the kid.

    • gymnerd Says:

^Idiots being the Biles et al, not anyone posting here. I’d be surprised if there wasn’t some sort of no-compete clause (you can leave, but you can’t take our gymnasts) in Aimee’s contract – though obviously, Simone is going with her, or vice versa. I just think back to the Moceanu’s Gymnastics, Inc. fiasco and how all that came out. Is Simone still an amateur? Who is financing this? I wish them the best, but I see this being a BIG distraction/pressure for Simone.

      • Cee Says:

“I just think back to the Moceanu’s Gymnastics, Inc. fiasco…”

YESSSSS. And Dominique was an OGM with HUGE publicity–she had an enormous following even before the Games and she’d already written a book by then! Now it doesn’t necessarily have to be the same thing–I don’t know enough about the Moceanu situation to formulate an opinion as to why that gym failed (though I know the dad was a hot mess)–but it cannot be denied that starting a NEW business is a huge undertaking. That’s something you do at the *end* of your career, after you’ve won the Olympic medals, not in the middle of the quad two years out from when you’re hoping just to get on the team! Simone need to concentrate on her gymnastics, not this adult crap! I’m really very annoyed at the grownups in her life. It’s one thing to change gyms, quite another to start something as big as this with the expectation that the teenage champion in your circle will somehow make it all happen, based on her success on the mats.

      • gymnerd Says:

        EXACTLY, Cee.

      • Gymbee Says:

When Chellsie started, did her family already own the gym?

      • Case Says:

Yes, the Memmels owned their gym prior to Chellsie’s career, or at least they had worked in the industry forever.

I think this is a huge mistake for the Biles family. I don’t like it at all. Let’s see if Biles Gymnastics is still part of our discussion in five years.

  5. gymtruthteller Says:

The difference is this gym is being paid for by Ron Biles monet. Have you seen the house? The man has money. Simone does not need the pressure or stress of living up to this gym but I am sure she has been assured this isn’t about her future earnings. Moceanu’s dad was a monster. Ron doesn’ come across that way.

    • Exgymgurl Says:

Also Simone has not turned pro. This is not her $$. Yes elites get training and equipment $$ but this is not her $$. Maybe Simone will be vacuuming like Mihai. I could see her grandparents doing something like this to help her have personal responsibility.

    • Tortuga Says:

Do we know for sure this is her families money? Maybe it’s Aimee’s gym? Just a guess.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

The name of the gym is Biles and the name on the building perments is Biles so why would this be Aimee’s gym?

      • Tortuga Says:

I didn’t read the inserted info till just know. I thought it only listed the address. Didn’t see that it listed his name and everything. It’s a bad idea for sure. The gym I worked for could barely pay me, but I swear they were cheap wads.

  6. sainabou nyang Says:

I dont know I have a bad feeling about this. I hope this doesn’t backfire on them.

    • Case Says:

I agree with you 100% sainabou. Gyms are money pits to begin with and this just….ugh, I don’t like it.

  7. Ronnie Banghart Says:

Okay, Simone is not building a gym, the gym is being build by her parents. It is their money and their investment. Which is completely different than the “Moceanu fiasco!”

Dominique’s father used her prize money to build that gym. And, he put pressure on Dominique, not only to promote the gym but to continue being a champion. As we all know, he was not, unfortunately, the best father in the world and did not necessarily have his child’s best interest at heart..

As a personal friend, I can attest that Ron and Nellie Biles are dedicated parents (and they are her parents so please stop referring to them as her grandparents!) who put the best interest of their children first.

The decision was made with Aimee and she has been involved in all aspect of the project (and if anyone knows Aimee, they know that she would never do anything to jeopardize Simone’s success…she is the most dedicated of coaches who has always put the best interest of her athletes first!)

Simone is NOT involved in the project in anyway, other than the fact that it will be her home gym when it is completed.

BTW, it is an amazing project that will be a state of the art sports facility including Mens & Womens gymnastics, tramp, tumbling, martial arts, cheer and dance.

Much love, care and thought have gone into this project; but most of all, everyone concerned knows the importance of keeping Simone focused on her training; keeping her happy, healthy and strong.

    • gymnerd Says:

So Simone’s parents aren’t her grandparents? What happened to the “drug-addicted mother” story?

      • Case Says:

Simone Arianne Biles was born on March 14, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio. Because her mother was unable to care for her and her siblings, Simone’s grandparents, Ronald and Nellie Biles, adopted Simone and her sister Adria. She has two brothers named Ronald and Adam. She is a homeschooled 11th grader and will graduate in 2015.[9]

      • gymidiot Says:

I think his point is that it is somewhat insensitive (even if not intentionally so) to continually insist upon referring to them as her “grandparents” when they have adopted Simone and raised her as their daughter. To her, they are her parents. To them, she is their daughter. Just as we would never point out (I hope) to adopted children that their adopted parents are somehow not their ‘real’ parents, it seems equally inappropriate to imply the same in Simone’s case.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

Some people are a little insensitive but sometimes people just mis-speak and call them her grandparents without thinking.

      • Tortuga Says:

        [Insert “Like” button here.]

      • gymidiot Says:

Addendum: I feel a bit silly, because Ronnie may well be a woman. So let me correct my comment above: I think Ronnie’s point is…. etc.

      • Ronnie Banghart Says:

Yes, I am a woman; but you are absolutely right! It’s about respecting Ron and Nellie’s as Simone’s parents. Thank you and well said.

  8. Ronnie Banghart Says:

One more thing. Unlike Dominique’s father, the Biles have always deferred to the recommendations of Simone’s coaches. They are not “stage” parents. Simone is a gymnast because it makes her happy to be a gymnast, not because her parents long for success or recognition through their children.

  9. biyatch Says:

Seems like this could be a dangerous gray area in terms of NCAA eligibility. The NCAA and their arcadian rules could clearly see this as an athlete using there name and success to promote a business which is a big NCAA no-no.

The other thing is that this could be a “virtual gym”, used to separate funds that the Biles family allocates towards Simone’s gymnastics career. For example, I have a farm LLC that owns my horses to separate my money for tax and liability purposes despite the fact that I don’t have a farm.

    • gymtruthteller Says:

Its not Simone’s gym its her parents gym. I think she will be fine.

      • Exgymgurl Says:

For NCAA violations there has to be a paper trail. Showing her ownership or signing autographs or profiting. You are still NCAA eligible if say you are a soccer player and in HS get a ref license to ref kids games. You get paid for something related to your sport but not paid to play your sport. Wouldnt surprise me if they arent offering Aimee an ownership interest since her coaching talent is building the gym as well. Simone could have an ownership interest locked in a trust and still be ncaa eligible.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

From what I have been told this is an “investment” by Simone’s PARENTS only and has nothing to do with her personally.

      • biyatch Says:

I was thinking more along the lines that by combining Simone’s last name with “World Champion” it would seem that it is specifically looking to profit/promote off the fact that the gym is home of Simone Biles, the 2013 AA world champion. Like its the connection of the name and title. Again NCAA rules are ridiculous and this is most likely a gray area but with the NCAA you never know.

NCAA amateurism has kind of become a huge joke anyways. For the few gymnasts who could make money and turn it down to retain NCAA eligibility, they are obviously at a huge disadvantage to those in revenue sports who’s money making days are ahead of them and not behind them.

      • gymnerd Says:

        What Biyatch said…first paragraph.

    • Tortuga Says:

I just have this feeling if Simone has another great year in 2014 like she did in 2013 she will go pro. Only one US world AA champion kept NCAA eligibility and went to college, obviously that was Bridget Sloan. But only time will tell.

  10. JAS4 Says:

Does anyone know when the next camp is? It will be interesting to see who Marta chooses for Jeselo and Pacific Rims. Has anyone heard how Lexie and Amelia are doing because I know they were both injured for awhile

  11. katecoursey Says:

Looks like Maroney had surgery…I don’t usually follow gymnasts’ social media accounts, but it’s midterms so I decided to check Twitter instead of writing my papers. Knee surgery, I’m guessing. Too bad😦

  12. sportsfan Says:

Mckayla had surgery for the 4th time on her leg today. Post-surgery Instagram pic.

    • mim Says:

oh man, she’s a trouper. all the gymnasts are really, but she’s had so many surgeries in such a short time!

      • Gymbee Says:

I’m glad she’s fixing it though!! No Shawn-type whining as of yet from her haha.

      • Tortuga Says:

With this many surgeries though I fear she might call it quits soon. I mean how many surgeries do you go through before you decide enough is enough? Then again I don’t know if this stems from an old injury or what.

      • biyatch Says:

it depends on what kind of knee surgery it is too, if its just a scope to clean up what ever’s going on in the knee it could be a few weeks rehab, if its something more extensive obviously it could be significantly longer (although i feel like it can’t be anything as bad as an ACL replacement because that would’ve leaked out i feel like).

classics and nationals are pretty late this year so she has time if its not something super major.

      • Karlie Says:

It could easily be a scope, or an ITB release – those are usually quick recoveries (having had ITB release surgery before I can confirm that it’s short).

    • katecoursey Says:

On Twitter she said she only has to stay off the leg entirely for a couple days, so it can’t be something too serious (like an ACL tear).

  13. GymMom Says:

Mckayla and Jordan in a Jared Leto video last year.

  14. Akshay Says:

Guess what happened recently, it seems.

    • Katie Says:

      Just yesterday

      • mim Says:

I actually like her veil in that photo. She looks quite traditional and pretty.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

I have seen several pictures and the dress is kind of pretty in one and ugly in another but these are private pictures( someone friends with a friend ) and sent them to me so I can’t share publicly.

Remember when someone told us that Alicia’s friend signed all her autographs when she got mail. That girl has a few up.

So far no gymnasts were seen at the wedding except Kristina Comforte who no one cares about.

      • Akshay Says:

I wonder if Nastia was invited. LOL. I think her and Anna Li was blacklisted.

      • gymtruthteller Says:

If she was invited she would have put a picture of her up online about it by now.

      • Katie Says:

Plus who gets married on a Friday?

a couple weeks ago Shawn Johnson tweeted something like “See you in a two weeks” to asac. I know those two became friends after 2008 but thought they went through some more drama since then. I guess we’ll see soon.

      • sanitynmotion Says:

Um, I got married on a Friday. It was a destination wedding so I didn’t have to deal with a bunch of people I either don’t know or don’t care about – most people go to weddings for the free booze and party anyways. We had our wedding in Mexico and it was 80% cheaper than having it in the US.

      • Akshay Says:

I thought they didn’t really become friends after 2008, until around 2011. As Alicia-Nastia went downhill, Alicia seemed to become better friends with Shawn, and bonded with her at camps, etc. But I remember that one tough patch, where Shawn tweeted something to Alicia about the media and what people were saying. I think Alicia re-followed Shawn on twitter sometime in 2012, and I remember seeing Alicia/Bridget/Shawn act all buddy buddy on Twitter – I suspect, in part because of Marta’s disgusting favoritism towards Nastia during her comeback.

      • Karlie Says:

Unrelated but her hair looks excellent there. In general I find that Asac always had the best hair during competitions as well so I like her beautiful style during the wedding…haha

      • Katie Says:

Yes, that’s what I was thinking of. Ahhh the gymworld and its drama.

  15. Gymz Says:

I know you don’t normally post any of these types of comments, but the address posted is in a residential community and would definitely not be the location of the gym- The HOA in that area is ridiculously strict and would not allow that to happen. Source: My parents live in that neighborhood and got citations for running a “Landscaping Business” that they fought, because what the HOA was calling a landscaping business was actually flower pots sitting on our driveway😛 The HOA for that area is managed by a company called Chaparral management, and they send out letters and citations for the stupidest stuff, so I can’t imagine anybody trying to build a gym in that residential area. However, there are plenty of places for gyms in the area. Woodlands Elite (which is huge on the cheer scene) just opened a bigger gym in the past few years, so maybe they are going into where the old gym was (I can’t remember off the top of my head if they sold that or not)

    • gymtruthteller Says:

LOL I love that. Plants in a driveway. In know its not the gym but the owner of the person who is starting the gym.
