I was really impressed with them last year I hope they keep it up this coming year

  2. Catherine Says:

I’m not sure who they’re losing other than Marissa and Ashanee. No idea about their newcomers either. Bridget, Mackenzie and a healthy Kytra should be able to carry them anyway.

i think they could be like georgia. good athletes leave but they get replaced with ones just as good basically. i’m hoping kiersten wang can do more this year. it looked like she was going to last year until she broke her hand.

  3. Exgymgurl Says:

Randi Stageburg graduated, but with Alania Johnson back healthy, Bridgey Caquatto coming along, the Spanish girl that was at worlds and did well is one of their freshman…Sloan elevates this program like Kupets did at Georgia…

  4. Exgymgurl Says:

There only other freshman is Claire Boyce from Texas dreams…

Wasn’t Stanford loaded with former “greats” too? How’d they fare this past year?

    • sj0126 (@sj0126) Says:

stanford didn’t make the super six (the top 6 college teams aka nationals) last year. ivana got hurt during the competition. kristina vaculik and sami shapiro are great but too many other girls fell. actually kristina fell too on beam but by then it was over

Interesting – thanks for letting me know. I don’t follow college gymnastics at all really other than what’s posted on here but I was intrigued by Stanford’s team this year.

    • sj0126 (@sj0126) Says:

no problemo! i was just watching the regionals from last year yesterday so it was easy to remember. stanford is weird they always have good athletes but they can never seem to get it together as a team
