Be Afraid. Be VERY afraid: Mens Team Finals

I can’t wait to see what NBC does with this.lol

Results

Maybe it is me but I think it is better to get the results right now than have another Paul Hamm situation where someone is screwed over a day later. From what I have read this was the right call but I am worried about Superman screwing up the AA.

Watching Great Britain win a medal was a lot of fun. The crowd was awesome for them. It wasn’t as loud as the Mag 7 but it was great.

The US tanked but they seem pretty proud of themselves for fighting, of course they fought after they fell 4 TIMESSSSSSSSSSSSSS

I missed what happened so it should be very interesting to watch it on NBC lol

I hope the judges are fired. So lame. This crap shouldn’t be tolerated. I feel bad for Ukraine.

  3. The Dude Says:

US must’ve thought they had it in the bag the way Japan did before Prelims. Guess they’ll learn for Rio.

And I don’t know about you, but Uchimera has had a pretty crappy Olympics. At least the US had their moment (and the boys could still make it happen for AA and EF)

Horton got a 15.2 for his high bar. That seems really low, does anyone know what he usually scores?

      • gymtruthteller Says:

He got a 15.6 something in prelims.

      • nero Says:

I think he got like mid 8s in E score even though it was a pretty great routine hmmm. Sucks for Horton and Dalton who were the only two not to screw up

  4. Kylie Says:

Love Team GB got a medal, so appropriate for 2012 and the first in 100 years.

So one of my facebook friends posted this on her wall:

Gabby Douglas is definitely my favorite athlete and gymnast of the London 2012 Olympics, and not only because she is absolutely fantastic but because, when she was interviewed after tonight’s qualifiers, she was asked “what keeps her nerves so calm because people were worried about her nerves getting in the way of her performance?” And her reply was that her coach told her to believe and be confident and then she said that she has been meditating on scripture and how it says be confident and that the Bible has really helped her!”…. Wow!! What an awesome statement from such a young woman of God. And what a bold statement to make in declaring her faith and what she looks to in times of trouble in front of thousands and thousands of viewers!! I was blown away by her interview! And it shows the power of the pure word of God 🙂 #confidence

    SERIOUSLY?? GAG ME.

    • gymtruthteller Says:

lol you should reply with her quote for Jordyn not making the AA, We all have disappointments.

    • Gymnastwannabe Says:

Actions speak louder than words…Jordyn’s interview showed her humility and respect for her teammates. Jordyn says she knew they are all strong athletes while Gabby showed off her arrogance…not confidence…big difference b/t the two…as a side note, I hate when people take scripture out of context and use it hype up themselves…not so Christian IMO

@AllChalkedUpNet IS JUST THE WAY THE ARE I DONT LIKE IT TOO BUT I CANT DO NOTHING 😦

HILAROUS exchange on twitter the other day, I can’t believe she replied!

    • mim Says:

she’s such a character, i still crack up at her bitchface to the “n-word” gymnast during the beam final at 2005 worlds.

      love that she replied!

men’s gymnastics was certainly dramatic. poor ukraine but i like that japan had enough faith in themselves to dispute if they felt it was necessary. wasn’t a fan of the boo-ing, GB still got bronze and that’s a massive achievement for them.

      • mim Says:

sorry double post (stupid iphone) please feel free to delete the first one!

      • gymglitterxx Says:

Wait what? Do you have a vid of the n word thing from worlds? Or know what happened/

      • gymtruthteller Says:

I have never heard about that.

      • mim Says:

NO haha “n-word gymnast” meaning nastia (trying to not talk about her this olympics!). when catalina shot daggers at her it still makes me laugh to this day.

sorry i didnt explain myself very well!

    • Dee Says:

LOL that tweet is hilarious. I guess I have to find her on there now.

  7. JAS4 Says:

So aggravated that the cord I just got to connect my iPhone to the tv to watch TF live tomorrow doesn’t work!

  8. gymglitterxx Says:

While watching the men’s in primetime, I realized the vault OOB deduction is SO stupid. If you step off the mat like Mikulak then yeah, you deserve a deduction but that’s a tiny little space they are allowed to land in! If you already get deducted for the step, you should not be deducted AGAIN when you inevitably step onto the red part as well.

  9. Dee Says:

Wow. Just finished watching…wow. A whole lotta bullshit in such a short amount of time.
