Men’s finals and AA might actually be pretty interesting

  2. sanitynmotion Says:

Wow do you think the men’s team could win gold? Maybe if they do and the women don’t they’ll change the whole structure of how the womens team is selected and trained and make it more like how the men are treated. Could be a good thing. And Marta can go bye bye. 🙂

    • gymtruthteller Says:

If Japan and China falls like they did in prelims, yes but Kohei literally is almost 3 points better on pommels than he was in qualifying and one point better on highbar. I do not see him falling twice and missing his dismount for a 12 again.

  3. Anonymous Says:

where did you get that AA finals list? It doesn’t factor in the 2 per country rule.

    • gymtruthteller Says:

NBC, It does factor in replacement gymnasts. There is no Q next to the third person who can not compete. Never mind the Q did not highlight. I am working on it

  4. tulip Says:

I saw Shatilov’s floor routine and he was way overscored. Then again, the judges on vault and floor were overlooking some ridiculous, but not all, form errors like bent knees and legs far apart. Some of those E scores were gifts. There were E scored in the 9.4!

    • gymtruthteller Says:

high bar is what killed me, everyone had bent arms when they re-grasped the bars and were off on handstands galore. They were still getting execution scores in the middle 8’s but it was kind of ridiculous it should have been worse

  5. Exgymgurl Says:

You think kohei is injured or just lost it mentally? I can see the US men getting silver maybe….but all the teams had room for improvement.

  6. nero Says:

This NBC live feed is going to give me an aneurism during TF. It crashes in everything; firefox, explorer, google chrome ugh. Google chrome seems to be working the best. Is anyone else having this problem? Hopefully I can have it all figured out soon

  7. Exgymgurl Says:

There is a blog I think over on bekahs get a grip where it says google throne with ad block ( not the pro version ) seems to work best and adjusting buffering rates

  8. Exgymgurl Says:

    Google chrome…. Sorry y’all

    • nero Says:

yeah I’m watching beach volleyball and have only had to restart it once. This morning during men’s gymnastics it was like 20 times in firefox.

  9. Exgymgurl Says:

http://celebritybabies.people.com/2012/07/28/olympics-nastia-liukin-budding-gymnasts-tips/…. Puking a ton in my mouth have a few kids or nine then give parenting advice Nastia

    • gymtruthteller Says:

There are several bits about Nastia I have ignored. She isn’t ruining this Olympics for me. I’ll make fun of her after they are over:)

    • Exgymgurl Says:

Imagine “Evan and Nastia plus Nine”. Think about it TLC…

      • gymtruthteller Says:

        She doesn’t exist.l She doesn’t exist. She doesn’t exist…………………….

  10. (@lygill) Says:

Is McKayla not gunning for the vault final? Her name has no asterisk on the start list. If she isn’t oh god I’m facepalming so hard right now. Isn’t that the whole reason she was named to the team?

  11. tulip Says:

For those watching on phones, try the Dolphin browser. I have an Android and think they have it for iphone. It’s free and works like a dream. I don’t have a tablet so I don’t know if it is available for those, but I wouldn’t be surprised.
