Alicia Sacramone does not believe in free speech

Got a message the other day from someone who said Alicia blocked her on twitter.

It looks like Alicia doesn’t believe in free speech.

The message I got said she only tweeted Alicia once or twice in response to someone that was harassing Alicia about not deserving the World medal and then she told that person enough already to leave Alicia alone. Next thing she knew she was banned from her account.

While “I did” say she didn’t deserve the medal” I wasn’t rude to her at all even when her mother and friends sent me harassing messages.

So #WARNING We now do not have to wonder if Alicia thinks she deserved that medal. She does.

HAAA!! What a bitch! LOL She didn’t deserve the medal. And I still maintain that if she competed at worlds, especially on beam and floor, there could very well have been a very different outcome. So, in a way, she does deserve the medal just by virtue of the fact that she sat her ass down somewhere! Better to be sitting at home than sitting on the floor during her tumbling passes.

How can she possibly think she deserved this medal? I don’t get it.

She thinks she’s the team “leader” that, with her impressionable skype skills, got those girls to “believe in themselves” so they went out there and won that medal. That’s the only path she can take to get Marta to even look at her when it comes down to the Olympic team selection.

We all know it’s not deserved when she didn’t even compete. She wasn’t even THERE…she left RIGHT AFTER her injury to get surgery. That medal really should be in limbo.

Here’s my theory: Marta gave her that medal (and with that, the record of most World medals won by an American gymnast) so that ASac’s “redemption” comeback would have some merit to it. She has a vault world title and that record. Now Marta can leave her off of the London team and more easily get away with it by saying, “well, Alicia’s comeback still gave her X and Y, she was an integral part of the US team from her comeback onwards but now, given her injury and that she wasn’t able to train as hard leading up to the Olympics, combined with the fact we can only take five girls, it wasn’t the best decision for Team USA to have her on the London squad.” At best ASac will be an alternate specialist, and this will furthermore pave the way for Liukin to be on that team since Marta really can’t risk having two specialists on a five-member team.

The media really loves ASac (we all saw that at this year’s worlds – anyone else notice how at every stupid apparatus during the team final they would SOMEHOW get ASac’s name involved, even though SHE WASN’T THERE?) and they will probably make a big deal if she’s left off the team. Plus she’s made even more headlines with her ESPN Body shoot (which made me gag, personally…that split she does on beam isn’t even 180 so I don’t know why she even does it when it looks so ugly…but I digress). Well, now she can have her glory this way and then potentially get an offer from Dancing with the Stars when she’s left off of the team. Didn’t she really want that anyways and it just made her hate Shawn more when she got the offer?

      • gymtruthteller Says:

Yes she wanted DWTS big time.

Alicia is smart to play up the team leader because it might help her stay relevant. Maroney has already passed her on the vaulting front. Only way Alicia gets on this team is if Marta goes the stupid way she went in 04 trying to out score the world on vault. We all know how well that worked out for team USA.

Alicia deserves everything she’s ever gotten. She’s worked hard and earned every medal she has received. She deserves everyone of them and you deserve a kick in your throat so you can friiiikin shut up. You’re nothing but a sorry, pathetic, groupy. You probably can’t even do a freakin straight cartwheel. People who feel like “nobodies” like yourself, have nothing better to do than to discredit others. Get a real job so you can be worth listening to. Being an elite gymnast for 10 years myself…nothing worst than a bunch of freeeeekin groupie, wanna be gymnast giving their useless input. That’s for all of you haters.

    • gymtruthteller Says:

Alicia does work hard or she did work hard before she whored herself out to Brady Quinn but that doesn’t change the fact that she did not deserve that medal.

      Thanks for your endearing

    • Sandy Says:

Nobody has ever said ASac doesn’t work hard. Anyone who has ever received a medal for a competition they didn’t compete in – how was that earned, exactly? That’s the ultimate question; it doesn’t matter who the person was that did not compete.

Groupie: A young woman, often under age, who seeks to achieve status by having sex with rock musicians, roadies, security, and other band-related guys.

@gym: I think you’re the one that needs a reality check. Last time I checked, ASac wasn’t a rockstar.

Point proven. So next time, gymtruthteller, just to be fair to everyone, maybe you should title the next blog “Alicia Sacramone (and her groupies) do not believe in free speech!”

  5. gymtruthteller Says:

Free speech is not for everyone. China , for example.:)

  6. Caitlin Says:

Nastia probably thinks she deserved it too. Cause apparently now pep talks are part of the 3 up 3 count lineup.

    • honeychile Says:

@ Caitlin HAHAHAHA!!! Well if that’s the case, where’s my freaking bronze medal!??

  7. Koruton Says:

Isn’t this a bit too easy? Free speech means the right to voice your opinion publically, and not on one certain twitter acount. Alicia didn’t write to Twitter to have the user banned from the website or hacked his/her computer to delete the account. She simply banned the user from posting anything on her personal page. That might not exactly have been a classy move, but it’s her right to ban people from her twitter just as it would be her right not to accept friendship requests on facebook. The user is free to keep on saying whatever she wants about Alicia – just not on her twitter page. I unterstand that this isn’t a very nice or tolerant thing to do, but I don’t think it is even close to a comment like “F*** free speech”. Also I think that peopel tend to forget it wasn’t Alicia who decided she should get the medal but probably Martha or someone else from USAG. So if you feel that Anna was robbed it’s not Alicia’s fault…

    • gymtruthteller Says:

Alicia thinks she deserves the medal. We all know she did not. If her mother and friends are going to harass someone then they are going to have to deal with the fall out. The person that sent me the message got sent nasty comments from Alicia’s mother. She also said a gymnast sent rude messages but didn’t mention who.

If you want to be famous you have to deal with what vomes with it.

Thanks for the comments. We can agree to disagree.
