Here are the committee minutes for a January meeting for USA-Gymnastics. Watch out US, the damn Liukins are trying to take over the United States.
II. QUALIFICATION
The committee discussed allowing the athletes who participate in the
Developmental Camps the opportunity to qualify to the 2011 American/US
Classic Meet.
Recommendation that only those athlete who participated at either the
February or April Developmental Camp will be eligible to attempt to qualify to
the 2011 Classics at the May Developmental Camp by performing full sets on
competition surfaces.

I am a lot confused. Nastia is now helping USA-Gymnastics make decisions?
First of all her name is not listed above when it says who is at the meeting and what their official position is but for some reason she is allowed to suggest anything?
There is no way in hell that Nastia should be allowed to ask for anything and have her father be the guy to second the motion.
That is a lot more suspect then the conspiracy theory that Nastia did this to keep Shawn from making any teams in the future. Though it should not matter in this day and age of the sport that a gymnast be ready in April for a competition that takes place in October. A lot can happen between the 6 months but thanks to Nastia and her commie father if a gymnast can’t show full routines in April they will not have the right to qualify for Classics through the May camp. A meet that can qualify a gymnast for Nationals , Worlds and eventually the Olympics.
Then again this does benefit Nastia if she really isn’t in training at all. Say she is just getting in shape because she knew she was getting chunky and not because she was actually in the gym training.
The second motion on this page by a Liukin allows a very Russian sounding name to stop her job as some kind of video person so that she can judge the competition . The Russians are taking over!!!!!!!!!!!
I did do some research on Tatiana Perskaia and I found out she is or was a coach at Capital gymnastics. I knew the name sounded familiar.
If she is still as coach then this is ridiculous.

Forces Chellsie into camp……Shawn too into readiness that might not be there for what purpose?? October is like the next century in terms of gymnastics…. kind of weird…. but its a recommendation, we all know Marta will do whatever she wants, and how does this benefit Bross / Hong / WOGA specifically????

Wierd because you have potentially 4 world AA champions in Sloan, Memmel, Johnson, and Liukin on the comeback trail….. gunning for 5 slots on an olympic team not to mention World gold medalists Asac, Bross, now seniorized Wieber. Not a lot of room in 2012 for the Mattie Larson / Ali Raisman and anyone over at the world cup right now really….I think it comes down to who can bring it on bars and who’s ready. Its going to be a mess at selection time, and the only two people that are for sures are whomever Marta crowns into slots 1 and 2 at Nationals… I’d bet its Bross and Wieber unless they have craptastical falls. Its a shame Douglas on beam right now looks better than anyone except the chinese …5 people is just not enough, it should be 7 with 5 up 4 count….because with 3 up 3 count we get watered down routines and it hurts the sport…

It’s going to be another Karolyi situation, which is ridiculous because at least Bela and Marta have credibility. As to Nastia’s making motions etc., as far as I know the only people who can make a motion or second one are people who are bonafide members of the group/board in question.
Maybe she was a guest celebrity motion-maker. God I sooooooo hope she gets tied up and can’t make London.

Nastia’s name IS NOT listed in the official meeting minutes.
That is a FIG Position not a USA-gymnastics position. Nice try though. I thought you were done with this blog anyway? At least you used one of the same names this time.

I just saw Nastia in the stands and Sam. Nastia needs to hire someone to dress her. Disco bar shirts went out in the 70’s. As soon as she saw she was on camera she had this cocky ass shit look on her face. Talk about Classic.lol I am surprised Sam didn’t wave at the fucking camera.lol
