I think we have seen four overall at these blogs but I believe they are on week 5 which means we are missing one. According to Catherine the first two weeks were cut in half so Beth did not perform. These judges are assholes. There are ways to say things without being idiots even if I did agree with them. The rodeo cowboy was Terror Lipinksi-esque

I want to give this little girl some props. Her name is Shayla Scott and while this was not perfect (she got a ten) I actually enjoyed watching her dance. Her tumbling was weak but I think she has great potential to do really well in College down the line. Not saying she can’t be elite , hell only I can make positive comments sound negative.lol
Mack Brannon also got a ten. Piked hips and messy form side this was a pretty nice vault, just not a ten

DWTS All Stars which aired in the fall of 2012 viewership was down 21% overall from last season and down 31% in the 18-49 age group. ABC is not doing another All Star season.

I was wondering WTF ABC was doing airing an All Star season right after an Olympics. It’s like duh, you have a TON of potential newcomers to the show right there!
I think that show is on its last legs anyways. I will be happy too when American Idol is over.

Remember Melissa was dumped by The Bachelor after he picked her? Then ABC put her on DWTS a few weeks after it started in 2009? I couldn’t stand her then! She was always hurt aka seeking the sympathy vote. Shawn went on to win that season. She dumped her fiancé Ty to go on The Bachelor and then he took her back after DWTS. They’re married now! She has a horrible over bite!

Yeah, I know. She dumped her boyfriend to go on the Bachelor, where she played the sympathy card yet again by claiming that all of her past/former boyfriends never treated her right and she was always the “dumpee” – which was obviously a lie. Her parents didn’t even have anything to do with that show so they didn’t show up on the “meet the parents” episode and Jason (the Bachelor) ended up “calling” them on the episode he was going to propose to get their blessing. That was all a crock.
After the show Melissa was a total b*tch to Jason and they actually broke up before the “After the Final Rose” ceremony via phone call, but ABC tried to make it look like he dumped her on national television (for ratings, and he was stupid enough to go along with it). The truth was they had already broken up and she was super pissed because the show was making her look like the pathetic one, since she even later claimed “I don’t even know what got into me on that show in the first place; Jason is totally not my type and I don’t even find him remotely attractive.” Which is funny because she was throwing herself at him on the show.
She ran with the whole sympathy vote though and even after the show, basically made her then ex boyfriend Tye whine and pine away after her – made him buy her stuff/dinners/all this other crap and even made him apologize to her parents for breaking up with her in the first place, as if it was all his fault why they even broke up. So he did that and now they are “blissfully” married where she up and moved the family to LA so they could live the dream. Yeah, right. She’s very selfish in general and manipulative.

They should be 10′s if they’re miles ahead of everyone else and set the standard and are flawless or almost flawless. Like Fan Di’s bars, Lu Li’s bars and quite a few of the 89 perfect vaults- Laschenova, Dudnik. They ARE flawless. As for Milo with a bunny hop and Nadia with a shuffle…meh, they did deserve it for being exceptional. Most of the old 10′s were deserved.

Nah I don’t even mean them, moreso the old perfect 10s in elite. Would you take it from Nadia, Milo and Kim Gwang Suk? Not perfect, but blew the competition away.

Yes. Milo took a step and Onodi should ahve won that gold medal. Kim gwang suk had difficulty but her form was a bit suspect but the judges also did not deduct for certain things back then. Milo’s gift win on floor and even her vault win are questionable.

I would have tied them actually. I think there should be a tiny tiny gap of not perfect but SO CLOSE for 10′s..which is what they had, and I’ve no issue with it. As for Onodi, she took a hop and dropped early on a spin..maybe 9.975? Certainly she was lowballed but I do think Milo’s routine was gold medal worthy and 10 worthy. Kim Gwang Suk bent her knees on the Marinich but other than that..perfection, especially her handstands. I absolutely love Milo on floor, but I question all of her scores on the other events.

Handstands did not matter in 1992. They weren’t a deduction unless it was compulsories.
Have you ever seen the two vaults Chusovitna did at the 1991 worlds? She was robbed big time.

Actually, confused Onodi’s routine with her worlds one. At the Olympics she had a step, slightly too early dropping her turn, and a low landing. So yes, I still would have given Milo the 10 and the gold. Onodi..not sure, but not a 10.

I know, which is why I go nuts when people say ‘omg she was short on all her handstands’ on an old routine. I just think her handstands are one of the best I’ve seen, and from an 11 year old who wasn’t required to show them too.
Not from EF…but wow! There was nothing to deduct, so well done. Milo’s first vault was fine, but her second vault wasn’t brilliant. Worthy of bronze. Should have been Chusovitina-Onodi-Milo. I’m thankful it wasn’t Zmeskal or Bogi though.

The 4th judge, Jason, is paid to be the mean one. They brought him back to help ratings, so he definitely has to get the boot in. It hasn’t worked, ratings are dire. The 2nd judge, Karen, is a former Olympic skater and the producers pit them against each other nice vs nasty for ratings. The other one is some twat from PussyCat Dolls who is just there to wreck heads ‘babe’ and is the world expert on choreography it seems. If she’s the dickhead who did a shitty high kick/scale in every single one of their videos then her opinion is even less valid. I love the fact that Torvill and Dean are still there, and still awesome.
