Nastia finally dumped the big mouth agent and has hired someone else. Thank God this agent is an EX-Boston something or other because I would go batty looking at Nastia if her agent was from here.

3 years ago, I have read a joke that Nastya claimed she declined DWTS “offer” becuase she wanted to focus on competition of 2009 World Championships. And then I saw her quit the selection Camp and then turn into a media whore.
I appreciate Shawn gains her spotlight and attention by herself and her own star power, not like somebody just keep leeching other people who are in hot topic or doing something messy fall to steal the spotlight.

I remember reading something along the lines of the casting director of the DWTS saying that Shawn was the ONLY gymnast she ever offered a spot on the show…. after Nastia claimed she declined an offer.

It is an old article from LA Times. Nastya (or her agent) claimed she declined the “offer” just in order to try to give the message that “I am the first choice and Shawn is only the second”.

She should have dropped the guy when Shawn was gaining spotlight over her despite her winning the AA. Too late now. She’s a has-been and nobody cares about her. She was 2008, and even then Shawn’s star power outdid hers.
She’s got the looks for marketing but her personality sucks. You need both. And even though she’s talented at gymnastics, she doesn’t do it anymore, so what can she possibly offer? Nothing.
Give it up and go to college already.

Also, isn’t he the guy who came out immediately after Jo didn’t make the aa finals and said how she had screwed up and had forfeited millions, more or less suggesting she should just end it all. He was saying this within hours of Jo not qualifying for aa final. He’s a total asshole and lousy agent too. I’m shocked it took Nastia and her dad this long to can the guy.

Maybe a better approach would be for Nastia to get super fat and then have Weight Watchers pay her millions to lose it – Jessica Simpson style. Only maybe Jenny Craig will take her on instead.
I don’t admire Kim K for the empire. I am more or less somewhat disgusted with society’s admiration of celebrities in general to enable that empire being built in the first place. But I don’t hold it against Kim K for capitalizing.
