Watch Nastia follow the gymnasts in front of the camera around. The best part is when she gets up with this nonchalant look on her face and a fake shoulder roll.lol (at 135 ish) The look on her face kind of says, ” no one wants to talk to me I’ll pretend I don’t care and walk away.LMAO
I will give props to Jon Horton’s wife. She must have married for love and not fame because she moves out of the way when the camera roles around. Nicole Kidman she’s not.
Need any butt advice ? Alicia has some for you.

Not a big Danell Leyva fan but props to him for skipping this tour to train. He and Elizabeth Price will compete at Stuttgart and Glasgow World Cup events. It’s too bad Marta won’t send Kyla Ross. She could use the competition.

Actually what’s funny is she (Nastia) barely does a full push-up, which surprises me (well, maybe not considering her lame comeback attempt where she basically told the world she was not in shape). Joking aside though, really. I can do a better push-up than her.
October 23, 2012 at 2:28 pm |
Yes those were pretty wimpy pushups by Nastia. I putting my money on you Sanity in a pushup contest with her. You’re a former water polo player right? Water polo players are strong and tough!
October 24, 2012 at 3:46 pm
Haha thanks for the note of confidence Terri! I was a former water polo player and now I just do P90X videos (so that’s why I stay in push-up shape, lol).

Hayley De Prospero (Mrs Johnathon Horton and Hollie vise teammate) was awesome when she was on the team, it doesnt surprise me that she prefers now to be out of the spotlight.
October 22, 2012 at 11:54 pm |
Danell is set on beating Kohei even if it is a World Cup event lol. I wish Kyla was able to go but hopefully she’ll get to compete at the American Cup.

If Kohei falls twice maybe

Yikes! John Orozco tore his ACL and meniscus. This f’ing tour is so not worth these injuries.
October 23, 2012 at 12:57 am |
That’s a bad injury…that’s Shawn Johnson’s injury. He won’t be fully recovered probably for another 1.5 years or so. Hope he got his money’s worth.
I can’t help but wonder if these gymnasts are going down because of the 1) skills being done or 2) not as in shape as they used to be or 3) combination of the two…
October 23, 2012 at 1:03 am
Probably a combination of everything? Also, it’s pretty dark in the arenas(probably to avoid seeing who is or ISN’T performing) which I feel is extremely dangerous. It seems like they’re not properly rested either? I don’t remember any injuries from the 2008 tour?
October 23, 2012 at 1:18 am
The tour is a recipe for disaster when you add lack of sleep to the elements you listed above.
October 23, 2012 at 2:16 am |
Damn at first they thought it was a dislocated knee.
October 23, 2012 at 3:17 am |
Woah that’s so much worse than I thought it would be. I’m sure he’s one unhappy guy right now. This could be it for him.
October 23, 2012 at 7:53 am
According to Gymnastics Examiner, he was really pissed at tour medical staff for not taking it seriously initially. The article also says Horton fell off the Olympic rings at some point???
October 23, 2012 at 9:52 am
im waiting for someone to sue the shit out of someone for all these injuries.
i noticed mckayla held back on actually disclosing her actual injuries in an interview. she fluffed over it and said “ah dont know what it’s called but i needed surgery”.. score 1 kellogs legal.
October 23, 2012 at 12:21 pm
My ass she didn’t know…this is crazy. At this rate if someone died they would probably prop the body up on the rings and the show would go on!

I just watched TWTS…Tumbling With The Stars. They did a group dance to “Call Me Maybe.” They wore cheerleading uniforms with midriff showing. Shawn & her “twin” Sabrina Bryant looked terrible. The other 2 girls looked great. Again..mostly tumbling….not much dancing.
October 23, 2012 at 12:31 pm |
I actually liked it! Call me crazy, haha, but I thought it looked good. Not sure why that one girl wanted to be thrown around after herniating a disc in her neck, but whatever!
October 23, 2012 at 11:50 pm
I loved it and thought they all did amazing. Melissa Rycroft and Karina Smirnoff are both super thin… and a few weeks ago you were saying how amazing Sabrina Bryant looked… well guess what ? I thought Shawn looked amazing. Shawn and Sabrina both had slightly different skirts than the other two, but they all looked great. That was incredibly difficult and flowed amazingly well for all of the couples involved and was a lot of fun.
October 24, 2012 at 1:59 pm
it was entertaining and well choreographed! considering they probably didn’t have much time to do it either. really good.

October 23, 2012 at 6:24 am |
Yup…just as I described TWTS..Tumbling With The Stars!
October 24, 2012 at 2:55 am |
Rumba in 2nd night. I think it’s very good.
October 24, 2012 at 12:25 pm
Wow! She really is starting to be a good dancer. It’s sort of nice to see her find something else to love to do. What were the scores?
October 24, 2012 at 2:00 pm
surprisingly great rumba! and who said shawn johnson has no artistry haha.
October 24, 2012 at 3:47 pm
Funny I watched on mute yet I bet I can tell you what the song it is they danced to…good job Shawn. I still can’t get over how much more “grown up” she seems now as opposed to four years ago (I know there’s a difference b/t 16 and 20, but wow).
October 28, 2012 at 10:24 am
A couple of screen captures of the Rumba. Shawn looks so emotional in this dance. I never imagine Shawn grows from a innocent/sweet girl to a mature lady.

I really wish Marta would send more gymnast international events but I’m glad Elizabeth is getting a chance to compete although it would have been nice if she sent Kyla too but then again with Kyla doing some of the tour she may not have had time for upgrades yet
October 23, 2012 at 9:45 pm |
I can’t believe how badly USAG is exploiting its athletes. Where is all the money from the tour going?? It must be for some really important purpose, or at least for really important person’s pocket.
How can you justify pressuring your top athletes, who are used to meticulous training under the most controlled conditions, into performing skills on substandard equipment in a dark arena full of screaming kids, night after night, while sleeping on a bus and eating fast food? I know they make some cash, but these young people have sacrificed EVERYTHING to excel in their sport and bring glory to their country. At the very least, they should be performing low risk skills without skimping on safety while USAG rakes in the dough off their backs…
And wow, Nastia gets more pathetic every time she appears on your blog. She freaking CHECKS to make sure the camera is pointed at her?!?! What is her exact role in this tour again besides performing? Did she also choreograph some numbers (surely including the one where she descends from the ceiling in a sparkly bodysuit while the 2012 gold medalists bow down)? Didn’t she have some huge behind the scenes role?
If so, no wonder this tour is such a debacle.

Kelloggs is making the money for the tour.
October 24, 2012 at 1:50 am |
Another Classic Nastia Moment! Always good for a laugh…..
October 24, 2012 at 2:18 am |
U know what’s funny is the announcers totally make excuses for Nastia’s senior outing but this year with kyla they were like “she’s not as impressive as I would have hoped …missing her potential ” whenever she made a tiny wobble. I hate elfie and tim!
