Look what NBC is planning on doing
IF this works and that is a big thing NBC almost might not suck.
Watch any apparatus you like?

It would actually be good if it actually happens AND it actually works when it is supposed to.
So this means I have something to do all day at work in July now? Awesomeeeee

Oh wow I might have to take a week off work now if this happens! Did anyone see the ad to the right w/SJ and her Bounty-ness? hahahaha….

I took the week off myself. Good thing the Olympics are in August or I wouldn’t have done it.

They did the same thing in 2008, it was on it’s sister website Universal Sports. If it is anything like in 2008 it will be amazing. They literally showed every routine by every gymnast. Last time they had the AA with commentary, the AA without commentary (both ways for TF), QF without commentary, EF without commentary and at least the TF and AA also split into streams of each apparatus. They even had podium training…..
It took over a week to go through and watch it all (which of course I did) and it was the best coverage I’ve ever seen.
I really really hope it is exactly the same as last time! (crossing fingers here!)

Eurosport and BBC both had livestreams for the last olympics. Loved the commentary by the BBC for gymnastics, so much better than the NBC genuises…

cool! I hope somebody capture the videos and like put it up on youtube or something

base • ball (bãs‘ bôl’) n. Sports. 1. Four minutes of action packed into three hours.
Without the higher production value of broadcast programming (and its knack for dramatization), I think live streaming will make every sporting event seem like baseball, well Dr. Drew Pinsky’s definition of it anyway!
Live streaming is SO unlikely to cannibalize NBC’s televised broadcasts (and the ginormous audiences they entertain). I think its whole purpose is to determine which sports get more TLC on TV.

Can I do a guest blog on beyond 2012 predictions for COP overhaul and Junior training strategies to Un-Ohasi-ize robotic international elite gymnastics

I’m so sick of dissecting this quad… I’m so over everyone except Kyla Ross

You sound like me and even Kyla was disappointing without upgrades and that floor.
I say in with the new and bury the old. Lets take all new kids to the Olympics.
