Mr Hollie Vise here has a beautiful pommel horse routine. I can’t remember the last American to flow on the pommels like this. I have no clue about mens gymnastics but something seemed very impressive about this routine. He scored over a 15 and won a silver medal at the World Cup in 2010.
Don’t quote me here because I am not sure I read it right but I was reading the TV guide and I could have sworn I read that Nastia was going to be on an episode of the Biggest loser November 30th teaching stretching exercises. I haven’t seen this info anywhere else so I thought I would share. See Nastia fanatics I can be nice too:)
I read an article about this song after I saw the song performed by Gweneth Paltrow on Glee. The article stated you
would have had to have been in a closet not to have heard about this song well call me a hanger because I had never heard it before last night.
Best song ever!!!!!!!!!!! Next time someone does better then expected this song is highlighting my blog.
Today I dedicate this song to Peyton Manning. Sorry Bridget:)
Aunt Joyce had this up a few days ago but I just watched it. After watching this video if you don’t think Beth Tweddle is absolutely charming then you have no judge of character.
Watch Sui Li and Deng Linlin’s beam routines from the Chinese National games above. The two best routines done by any gymnasts this year. Dare I say they were even a little underscored.
Just imagine if either of these girls had done these at Worlds. Ana Porgras would have been a bronze medalist. Just two amazing routines.
Shawn is a nice kid. She seems genuine and she isn’t a phony biatch like Naaaastia (Those extra A’s are for Naaasdaaaaack:) but I am having serious doubts about her comeback.
Here is an article about how Marta wants Shawn at the November camp after Shawn’s coach sent her some videos. She isn’t doing full routines yet which is probably wise being she is coming back from injuries but this leads me to my comment about Shawn’s comeback being doubtful.
Shawn always had great form. Legs together no crossed feet or legs on her twists but the one knock on her gymnastics is she never hits the complete split in her leaps and looking at these pictures it looks like she isn’t even attempting to fix this issue. That is sad. She needs to acknowledge this issue and FIX it. Not just pretend it didn’t matter. Now it isn’t fair to say she isn’t attempting to fix this issue since it is only one picture but I hope she does something about her only real issue. Rumor is she is taking dancing lessons so her artistic impression should improve but I always felt she wasn’t as bad of a dancer as the Nastia fanatical society made her out to be. She looks like a ballerina compared to Carly Patterson. Shawn wasn’t artistic but she had presentation. Which is more then she ever got credit for.
He Kexin now has a 7.4 start value on the uneven bars and she easily beat he teammate to win the UB title. She had some form issues and her score was a lot ridiculous but she hits she wins and she usually deserves it.
I’ll add beam and floor finals when avail
